No High Elf Males To Marry :(

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 5:30 am

Made a high elf female who I'm taking completely through the game and there are no high elf males to marry, not even one but there is a high elf female to marry. She's not gay so that won't do. I'm just very surprised that Bethesda didn't put at least one high elf male in the game to marry. It's hard enough to procreate high elf to high elf, why would a high elf marry someone who isn't a high elf. Guess she'll be a lonely elf.

Yes as it is it just feels tacked on.
I think they are just testing this out and seeing if its successful, then they might flesh it out in a future iteration of the series.

Don't the Thalmor control Elsweyr? Wouldn't they impose their religion on the Khajiit?

Maybe, but it doesn't change the fact that Khajiit don't marry like humans do. ;)

I was very disappointed in this as well...also no Altmer followers either.

Anyone who is not a straight male? ;)

List for marriage:
Khajiit: 0 female 0 male
Bosmer: 0 female 0 male
Redguard: 1 female 0 male
Altmer: 1 female 0 male
Dunmer: 4 female 4 male
Orc: 2 female 3 male
Argonian: 1 female 2 male
Breton: 1 female 5 male
Imperial: 5 female 4 male
Nord: 13 female 16 male

I have made a Khajiit and a Bosmer, later to find out they had no spouses of their same race to marry. So, I went around to who was available and decided from there. Each ended up marrying Nord men. :)

There are a lot more marriageable Nords than any other race, which I suppose makes sense with the province being Skyrim and all, but it'd be nice if there was a bit more variety. For instance, there are only two marriageable Breton females that I know of; one of them requires doing a lot of evil and therefore doesn't fit at all for a goody two-shoes character, and the other is a priestess of the hoochie goddess (aka, Church of Dibella).

List for marriage:
Khajiit: 0 female 0 male
Bosmer: 0 female 0 male
Redguard: 1 female 0 male
Altmer: 1 female 0 male
Dunmer: 4 female 4 male
Orc: 2 female 3 male
Argonian: 1 female 2 male
Breton: 1 female 5 male
Imperial: 5 female 4 male
Nord: 13 female 16 male

I'm pretty sure Senna is a Breton, so you may need to make a tiny adjustment of -1 Imperial female and +1 Breton. There are two wiki sites that I know of, and one lists her as Breton and the other as Imperial; using the console command to change her race to Breton didn't appear to do anything, but there were some minor changes when making her Imperial.

Senna is listed in the Official Bethesda guide as Imperial. That is where my information comes from. :) The only Breton available for marriage is Muiri, in the Hag's Cure.

There's always the Dunmer though.

Problem is, she's heads taller than dunmer and they aren't good looking to my elf. She prefers mages and high elf males. She can't help it. It's in her breeding.
