High performance - Restored Computer, now low?

Post » Mon Jan 06, 2014 11:18 am

I'm trying to figure out what I can do to improve my graphic performance as it used to run fine on high graphics yet now, after restoring my PC to original settings, it won't let me go past low without crashing consistantly. The only difference between what I had before to now is I've added the two expansions, Hearthfire and Dragonborn to my game. I had to restore the PC due to finishing school and trying to rid the high amount of surplus files, etc that were simply taking up way too much space.

Here are my system specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700

Radeon HD 5750 Graphics card

8 GB RAM memory

Windows Vista 32 bit

What can I do to restore my performance?

Thanks!

Why are you using a 32-bit OS with 8 GB of RAM? Over half of your RAM cannot be seen by the OS. There's a good chance that you're simply running out of memory.
