High Res Meshes and Textures?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 10:32 am

I am looking for mods to enhance my gaming experience and make Morrowind look awesome. I already have Darknut's armor, weapons, and creatures, I have better bodies, better heads, better clothes, the one thing i'm missing is high res textures and meshes for the rest. I found some on BTB's mod page, but the ones he has on there CHANGE the way they look. I'm looking for a mod that just smoothes out the look of them, not replaces them with textures and meshes that look out of place in Morrowind's game engine.

There is http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34510 but that's probably not as hi res as you are looking for. I'm not aware of any other that does the same thing only hi res.

Edit: BTW, if you are testing and trying out different texture packs I'd recommend learning how to use Wrye Mash's installers function, if you haven't already, to easily add and remove them without the hassle of layering textures the old fashioned way.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7459 is one of the few major Mesh replacers.
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7984 is great too.

PES has a http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.List&category_select_id=13. I suggest looking through there until you see what you want, or check out some of the "Graphic" threads here.

that's nice, but I like having single mods to deal with. Not a big huge package. All those files in one package hurt my head, I have no idea where to start. I already have some of those anyway. I'm just looking for single mods to help me out.

I have a http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1155980-povuholos-tomorrowind-a-mod-recommendations-list-for-today/ of single mods, though it's undergoing some revisions at the moment. Most of the stuff stays fairly close to the original design.
