I have a pretty high end PC with 8GB system ram and playing through a monitor capable of 1900x1200 and HD7870 factory OC vga (2GB VRAM)

I love the scenery in this game BUT...

my problem is I am only on a limited wireless connection (4G falling back to 3G) residing in a rural area, so downloading 3 + GBs of this optional texture pack is quite impractical for me. Is it possible to get a copy of it on Disc from somewhere that will ship to Australia?

No, it's not possible. However, it is possible to make a backup on your PC of Skyrim entirely with Steam. Just download the texture pack once, validate Skyrim...then make a backup. Problem solved, you never need to download anything again. One time wont kill you.

You could also consider downloading the pre-optimized HD texture pack from the link below. It should eliminate the need for the original texture pack content and it's reduced drastically in size.

I'd suggest the "FULL1024 and HYBRID (1024+2048) VERSION" because the full versions are standalone (they don't require the original texture pack).
