[WIP] High Rock

Looks interesting, I can make meshs and animations, if you need help.

Thankyou very much! That would be fantastic. TOYB is in charge of the list of all the meshes that still need doing, I am sure that he will drop by soon with a suggestion.

Yes that would be excellent! Top priorities right now would be architecture, creatures, and armour/clothing, what would you be most interested in pursuing? :)

Will we be able to find the various http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Witch_Covens that were present in TES II: Daggerfall? What about the various http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Vampirism#Vampires_At_A_Glance present in High Rock? Anyway, it looks amazing. The architecture is brilliant, and the height map looks amazingly detailed. Good job so far! I'll be keeping an eye on this. :goodjob:

Some architecture like this http://z.about.com/d/gouk/1/0/D/F/-/-/royaloakpubbarringtoncambs.jpg, http://www.beenthere-donethat.org.uk/images/eardisland01.jpg, http://s0.geograph.org.uk/photos/72/86/728611_7aec0f48.jpg, http://www.beenthere-donethat.org.uk/images/kersey10.jpg, http://www.countrylife.co.uk/imageBank/t/thatched_cottage_in_devon_for_sale.jpg (for Camlorn, half-tibered with Thatched Roofs), or http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Travel/Pix/pictures/2007/01/19/TheOldHouseSHrewbury_PR460.jpg, http://www.bargaintraveleurope.com/09/images/lavenham_half-wood_tudor.jpg, http://static.laterooms.com/hotelphotos/laterooms/4378/gallery/4378.jpg (for Daggerfall, half-tibered with Shingled Roofs), or http://img1.eyefetch.com/p/fu/346043-945913bf-3c1e-4a37-8f6f-442193b89e9dl.jpg, http://images.cdn.fotopedia.com/flickr-127903312-image.jpg, http://lh3.ggpht.com/_S7CuPRGTeek/Rx2AGZ8wwzI/AAAAAAAAAXc/nBEHwbWKeS8/York--The+Shambles,+Europe%27s+best+preserved+medieval+street.jpg, http://www.hiddenhousehistory.co.uk/images/guideimages/architecture/Facades/2%20Jetties%20typical%20of%20medieval%20timber-framed%20houses.JPG (for Northpoint, tudor architecture like that from York, England). Any of that take your fancy? :)

Yes! the Vampires and Witch Covens will be present in the game, here is what the Vampire territories look like: http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/6588/highrockvampires.jpg (there is one new bloodline, to fill up the empty space in the Reach and the North west of High Rock, all the others come from Daggerfall, and the territories are based on Daggerfall Lore).
And thanks alot! :)

Noirgrim gave us permission to use his map, the original being found on http://imperial-library.info/maps/maps_highrock.shtml, however it has been modified a fair bit to more closely coincide with lore. And yes, we do have a plain version of the modified map that doesn't include the Vampires overlay on it :)

Interiors for cities will probably be handed out as claims given the sheer amount of them, however for the rest of interior claims, for small towns, dungeons, etc, the interior claims will come with the exterior claim (so they exterior and the interior match up aesthetically better). Still interested? :)

I am thinking that maybe you guys need to release it bit by bit...sort of like what Iliana has done with Elsweyr. That way, the crowds will be satisfied while they have the initial hunger.

No you don't, we'd appreciate it if you actually didn't go anywhere near Npcs, as they will all be added in later :)

If you want, you can claim Corwich, which is a remote seaside hamlet on the coast up from Daggerfall (on the western side of the Daggerfall Peninsula). The only reference to the town is in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:The_Epic_of_the_Grey_Falcon, and the hamlet should be built in Betony Architecture (as you can see in the screenshots in the first post); the hamlet should be referenced on the small fishing villages of England, such as http://www.smh.com.au/ffximage/2008/03/17/PortIsaacUK_wideweb__470x311,0.jpg, http://www.marhamchurch.eu/images/Port-Isaac-15.jpg, http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/web/MultimediaFiles/20080414_NORTH_CORNWALL_TOR_PORT_ISAAC.JPG, http://img1.photographersdirect.com/img/13253/wm/pd1954798.jpg, and it should be about 6 houses closely packed together, with a Lord's Manor :)

And yup, we'll be releasing as we go, so people can explore the world in development, and playtest at the same time :)

Excellent! The Height Map will be online shortly, along with the first release of the Resource File :) As soon as they're up, feel free to get right into modding!

Can do! What architecture set would you like to do? (or will you be mad and decide to do all three?! which would be sweet as, but insane), just so I know what textures resource I need to supply :)

As I've mentioned elsewhere, I often groan when new WS mods begin whilst so many others are still a WIP. Nevertheless, it looks lovely and I wish you the best of luck.

Btw, I especially like the circus carriage. Might I ask who the modeller is?
