All the flirting and romantic acts aside, are you saying LGBT characters cheapen a product?

Ok now this is a completly different thing again which is again far off from the original post you made, i actualy do at least semi agree with you here that if you are gonna put romance/six/marriage into a game you cud do it more in depth.

Also i to get back to the 12 companions romance thing, are you sure thats correct cuz i find it highly unlikely i mean if i am not mistaked at least 2 out of those 12 are robots(Mr handy and Protecteron which i sencerly doubt are romancable), though i guess a six bot wudnt be a new thing in fallout lore eather but still doubt that wud count as romance(Mr. Fisto)

I don't think the OP is saying this at all. Read what is after that as well. Take the entire thing into context instead of picking and choosing what the OP said. I believe he means everything about six or romance in a game and not saying anything about LGBT.

Sure, I'd wear the female protags butt like a Bane mask, but we have no inkling of there being any six scenes to any degree

...just where is he getting "ooh, sixy sixy Fallout" from the stuff they've released? Haven't seen any raiders in revealing outfits like FO3 had (Actually, haven't seen any revealing outfits), plus the game doesn't list sixual Themes/sixual Content in the rating like FO3 & FO:NV did.

re: romancing companions. Considering the meaninglessness of the "romance" system in Skyrim? I kind of doubt that there's much depth or detail to whatever is available in FO4. This feels like the "interactive porm simulator" accusation that was thrown at Mass Effect back in the day.

The way I see it is if you dont like that kind of stuff then dont bother with it... unless you have 0 self control and you for some reason feel a mixed bag of guilt and pleasure from doing it because your not comfortable with your own sixuality. In which case your only playing a blame game and it feels better to point the finger at others rather than to move past your moral dilemma and understand yourself.... that's just my 2 cents anyway.

I uhh sort of agree maybe, Just for me often times it does seem a bit done just to be flashy and comes off a tad gimicky in games. sometimes bad enough for an eyeroll, I think my issue is mainly context and gameplot mainly or if it fits in the world or story.

I expect it may also be I have watched to much porm, and now find the wrapping on the package just as enjoyable as the present.

If anything, Beth games are too prudish for my taste. However, I do like when a game tackles sixuality in a mature serious way rather than in a cheap frivolous way directed at pre-pubercent teenagers.

Things are actually tame compared to the early 90's games. In Ultima 7 Serpent Isle, you stripped and bedded someone while sending Iolo running out of the door, and you had Leisure Larry. Heck, Duke Nukem 3D had scantily clad girls dancing on a stage.

Very prudish. I couldn't agree with this post anymore. It's just so rare to get a game that does it right. I laughed at people who romanced both Triss and Yen hoping for something and then got one of the worst endings in my opinion. It's like, what did you think would happen?

At this point I want America to just shut up and stop being afraid to put more tastefully done content in games. I'm not asking everything suddenly become some pormo though. six scene in a movie no one bats an eye at a quick scene. One little scene is implied in a video game and everyone loses their minds.

You know what? To hell with it. I want a good pormo game. From the ground up AAA game quality. High quality writing, story, and gameplay all comparable to the best of the best games out there. Then layer in some fun awesome scenes and mechanics and some humor because let's be honest a pormo game is going to be hilarious. I don't need too serious of a game here. Complete character customization so no one can complain about not being included. Imagine the money to be made folks. Imagine it. At least I got the guts to admit it. I know playing a game like that isn't everyone style since they want to just have instant gratification (or whatever reason), but damn it I want to have a game like that. Surely there must be other people out there.

Romance and sensuality in games is fine with me. Though I usually don't participate unless there's a role playing reason to do so.

If anything I usually find the romance to be bland. Dragon Age's romance for example was pretty bland imho. Only a few games manage to give it some depth. The Witcher 3 got it right with some of the romance options, especially considering their backstories.

That said: I'm really don't get why you'd complain about it at all in a game that features (often random/pointless) violence, drugs, drink, crime that pays of, etc. Unless it's a complaint about a lack of story depth behind it, but then again: random/pointless violence is OK?

It's always an option. If it bothers you, opt out. If lack of story depth is the issue, then use a mod to enhance that once those become available.

I don't like it either, but Fallout is pretty tame compared to a lot of other games these days. I wouldn't say they've "ruined" Fallout.

I will bet you one Gauss Rifle, one T60b Power Armor and a settlement near Sanctuary Hills against a bucket with a hole in the bottom that there will be no nudity in Fallout 4 and all six scenes will be similar to those found in Fallout 3 and Fallout NV (e.g., a Fade to Black before anything happens). If someone is actually looking forward to this kind of thing, they are going to have to wait for the pr0n mods.
