I went to kvatch for the first time and hilter didn't come to warn me!
I tried to find him but I just can't!

What could happened to him?

I do not think he died because he is only waiting on a single spot until I come, so it can't be that he died.

The thing is: After I talked to jauffree I walked to Kvatch from the imperial city without using fast travel and it took me an hour.
While traveling I did some fighting and raised my skills ALOT.

When I got to kvatch and he didn't show up I tried to load up the save when I was in the Weynon place or how it called and I used fast travel to Kvatch and he showd up!

I could start playing from that point but I just spent one hour walking and raising my skills ALOT and I don't want to do it all over again!

So how can I make him show up?

Are you playing on PC or console?

It's possible that an enemy chased him away and he got stuck in something. Have you tried waiting at the spot he's supposed to show up?

Yeah I tried waiting 48 hours and he still didn't show up...

I so read the title of the thread wrong...

If you mean Hirtel, he could be dead or hanging out at the Flowing Bowl in Anvil. Just go and speak to Savlian Matius to start the quest.

It not about starting the quest.
I just can't play the game and feel right about it when I am missing something.
Sorry I am a wierdo...

Load the save game where you are waiting on the spot where usually Hirtel shows up. Then walk back to the point where you arrive when fast travel. Start talking with a few npc and see if he arrives...

Tried right now and nothing...

I found him!!!!

I used the createfullactorcopy command to create 60 hirtels and then looked around until the screen become slower and I found them.
Then I loaded the save before I did it and I found his body in the same location....
Damn!!!

Well thanks you guys anyway but I guess I just have to start over...
