Him or Her?

I'm in a cross-roads for my next character. I want to make a male character (finally....), but at the same time, the type of male character I want feel's like a female character would better take the role.

The character, regardless male or female is basically going to be someone who is out in the Wasteland for themselves. With this mentality, the character will be kinda gritty and dirty, will take any job that has benefits directly for me, and maybe the one or two people in the game I don't actually hate to death. I decided on a more stealthy character so:

My build is basically down pat.

S 7
P 5
E 3
C 4
I 7
A 8
L 6

TAGs: Small Guns, Sneak, (up for options)

I feel like this would be a way better character as a female, however my past two have been female...
What do you think, male or female, and what suggestions do you have?
I went with a high-er strength because I'd like to go out and just mass hunt stuff (Suppose I could grab a companion for this, right?)
And i'd like a decent perception due to the fact, I swear to friggen god i'm blind when it comes to video games, and without the little red markers... I can't see a raider standin 4 feet next to me :brokencomputer:

Thanks for help guys! (:

Not sure but I think I would go female, and as seen as you have a very low endurance I would tag medicine.

Rothwell is right, I mostly play as the male characters (it just made sense cause I am) but the women also get the Ladykiller perk - a + 10% damage to all males and also the dialogue options are not only useful, but hilarious! Women definitly have the power in this game.

Also, the stats are pretty cool, but I'd be worried about the low endurance - have fun at the deathclaw sanctuary getting that bobblehead! :-)

Well i'd like a character that can explode most of the places in this game.
Just... head out, find some places and bring home some loot.

Any builds you can suggest or will mine suffice?

You mean explore? xD
If you want to go, kill, loot, sell
The perk that lets you carry more stuff will be needed, but what do I know I give the stats based on roleplaying.
As for me I always play male since I want to play with eyecandy :P
But females do have the black widow perk.

Well guys get Lady Killer and women get Black Widow. Both do the same, except extra 10% damage to the opposite gender.

unless you use a mod like http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=72

but for me it would depend, if I don't plan on using a companion I pretty much get a girl & when I do plan on using one (usually a basic SCC style one) I'll choose a guy.

& this is from a guy

Thing is there are alot of more male enemies.
The mod that rusty gunn linked look useful, So if you chose a guy give him the black widow perk and wala 10% more damage against 95 % of enemies

Except the large majority of enemies you encounter are male. That is why black widow is better than lady killer. Also, fyi super mutants are genderless so those perks have no effect with them.

I always play male characters, but I would go with female for that certain build. If you watch a lot of crime shows you learn that murders that are brutal and simple are usually males, and the women more often use poison or some other stealthy method lol.

So women are sneakier? Or maybe craftier?

try explosive. this skill is useful for non-killing. but it offers silent killing when using grenades. grenades don't have the range as missiles do but they can do as much damage.

Yeah, that is for sure. My current character is going only explosives and melee for offense. It has worked good so far and has been rather interesting. A well placed grenade thrown while hidden can do a lot of damage. I like to toss one at the middle guy in a line of 3 talon mercs and kill all three with one grenade. I also use a mod that increases the blast radius of all explosions in the game by 50%. That includes exploding cars so you need to run away further. It is balanced because of the extra danger from cars, and your enemies benefit from it too.

Mines are also a lot of fun. If going into a scary place (like a certain yao gui home) that has a linear path with no offshoots I lay a mine every now and then in case i have to run away. Gives me a defense while in retreat, and actually can be good for killing tough enemies.

They are also very useful when you retreat from giant rad scorpions as well

I generally make male characters first, but I recently made a female character in Fallout 3 partially because of the fact that all the clothing and armor in the game is just better stylized for female characters, whereas for male characters the armor just looks functional, and the regular clothes are meh.

If you want to explore and loot a lot of random junk, I would suggest the Statesmen Hotel.

For the tagged perk I would choose: Lockpicking

A lot of stuff (cool stuff too, bro) can be found behind locked doors.
