Hints at Dragon Shouts

" As the beast sprayed the battlefield with a cone of flames, we could hear it whispering in another language beneath the roar of the flames." - http://http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/elderscrollsvskyrim/news.html?sid=6308882&mode=previews&tag=topslot;title;2&page=2

Howard has said that the dragons do not breath fire because it is a physical thing, but because it is a dragon shout. We know Dragons can use Dragon shouts against us, but then do you think we can use shouts like breathing fire against them?

I'm fairly confident we can return the favor on the dragon, although breathing fire would probably be one of the last things I'd try.

That would be crazy if we breathed fire like the dragon in the trailer.

Would make arguments with NPCs rather interesting...

...and probably much shorter.

"You've killed my auntie!" (Holy Grail Reference)

He also said they don't want to have dragon shouts that are made redundant by magic. And since there are flame spells, that's about as redundant as you get.

yeah maybe, but a fire spell that is INSANELY powerful and doesn't cost a single magicka point?

I wonder how it will be using them on NPC's and in the middle of town?

At the moment they are on a timer. SO you could cast it and maybe have to wait 1 minute for it to reload. You may miss. It can be balanced.

its been no secret that dragon shouts are an in.

I am pretty sceptical about shouts in general, but nothing indicates they will have a bad impact so... that falls into my philosophy, the more options the better.

If we can breath fire, I'm going to make an Argonian called Trogdor the Burninator! (Trogdor was a man!...he was a dragon-man!...or maybe he was just a dragon!)

With his might fire breathing shout he shall burninate the people and their thatched roof cottages!

Might look a bit strange for other characters though if the effects are mouth emitted lol

But you could also make a red H2H Argonian named Charmander or mod in a Shoop-Da-Whoop sound for the shout, the hilarious implications are endless

Yes, it's a dragon shout.

Also I believe the dragonshout for the firebreathing is "Go".

Listen to the trailer and you can hear a sound similar to "Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo", Could be "Goh" though, not sure XD.
