Anyway. I'm actively hunting for the Oblivion Walker achievement which has evaded me for years now, and have the UESP article open that tells me which paths won't grant me the artifact.

It doesn't say anything about Savior's Hide and Hircine's Ring. You're able to obtain both and I'm wondering if that's a glitch or exploit.

I don't want to break my hunt (haha) for this achievement.

Nevermind, apparently the article states thus;

• If you acquire both the Ring of Hircine and the Savior's Hide, both will count towards the http://uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Oblivion_Walker http://uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Achievements, allowing you to earn the achievement without completing one of the "required" Daedric quests. However, the "Daedric Quests Completed" statistic (in the General Stats section of your log) is only incremented once.

So, getting either/or counts towards it?

Yes. You can get the ring, the armor or both and it will count towards the achievement.

It's best to do this quest last in case another one is bugged and you can't get one of required artifacts. I guess in a fully patched game everything works as intended, but better safe than sorry.

I f'd that up. I made this post -as- I was doing the quest. Throughout I thought "Man, this would have been nice if I waited in case I missed out on one of the others".
