Hircine's Realm

Post » Thu Oct 14, 2010 1:51 am

Other conversations on other threads got me thinking, we seen Sheo's realm, Dagons, now what does Hircine's look like? Debate away....

This thread does not belong to the "Skyrim General Discussion" section., try the "The Elder Scrolls Series Discussion" or lore section.

Have a good evening. ;)

As has been stated before, it does belong in TES General, but I see no reason to not answer your question while you're here.

We get a pretty detailed description in The Infernal City. Basically, it's the ultimate hunting ground. Deep forests, plains, cliffs, etc.

If you're there, you're going to be hunted.

"The Hunting Grounds are the realms of Hircine, being seemingly endless puzzling rooms and mazes inhabited by vicious creatures such as bears, wolves, werecreatures and Daedra. Many of the creatures that inhabit the plane are much larger than those that inhabit the mortal realm. Geographically the plane is made up mostly of dense woodland and vast grasslands and plains. Mortals entering these realms are typically hunted down by the inhabitants."

Pretty much exactly what you'd expect Hircine's realm to be.

Omg, Hircine is a hunter?

I'd rather see Hermaes Mora's realm. I want shelves of books that stretch into infinity upward and onward!

We went to Mehrunes Dagon's Deadlands through the Oblivion gates. Coincidentally, it looks identical to Boethiah's Attribution's Share, and Peryite's Pits.

Most Daedric Princes realms of oblivion are very different. Perfect example being Sheogorath's Shivering Isles. Also, I believe it's Molag Bal's realm that is a copy of Tamriel but with everything corrupted. And Vaermina's realm isn't even possible to be inhabited by mortals.

Read the Infernal City, Sul and Attrebus' gang went there. Woods, plains, rivers flowing with blood, and more!

Why? you're half-blind there. You can barely make out what's going on in her realm in between stubbing your toes on the various objects that you can't see all to well.

I'm only half-blind there because of how beautiful the roses, waterfalls, and silver city are. All I need to do to protect myself from Moonshadow's beautiful blinding capabilities is to bring a little bit of ugly into Moonshadow to even the beauty out to a tolerable (by mortal standards) level. The carcasses of about 10 brutally slain dragons or its equivalent of one Adoring Fan should do it. :P

Aye, sounds like a perfect place for my vacation home ^_^

I would want to go there... If I could somehow destroy Azura. Seeing as how I'm pretty sure they daedra cannot be permanently destroyed maybe I should just try to put a serious curse on her. Like what happened to Jyggy but way worse.

Does sound geographically a lot like Skyrim so I wonder if we will see this in Skyrim. Especially since it was mentioned in the IC

However, Bethesda seems to like contrast between the main games and their expansions/DLC. Vvardenfell and Solstheim, for example, look very different from each other as do Cyrodiil and the Shivering Isles.

Can you beat Vivec shoving his Muatra down Azura's throat?

That's why we must find Vivec, take his Muatra, and use it on Azura. If he refuses to peacefully hand it over, we'll rip it out of his cold, dead hands.......................................... wait...
