Falco Destirus, Day 1

Falco listened as the others debated the best course of action, there seemed to be a small fight going on near the stream that ran next to the clearing. Falco soon became aware that if they attempted to discuss everything before they did it they weren't even going to make it out of the glade. We need to distance ourselves from this place, we need to get into the mountains. He looked around him once again, they were still chatting. He reached into his quiver and pulled one of the heavier arrows out, he checked it quickly before taking off his bow and nocking it. He pulled tight, bending the large bow with his surprising strength. He took a breath and swiveled aiming straight at a tree on the other side of the stream. He loosed the arrow and it shot across the small distance quickly. It landed with a satisfying thud, as it lodged in the wood.

"We've tarried here too long, the hounds of Hircine are swift and to avoid them we must be swifter still. I am leaving, now, those who want to join me are welcome," he bounded quickly to the tree that held his arrow and with a quick tug, pulled it free of it. He replaced it in his quiver and began moving slowly upstream allowing those who wanted to to catch up to him.

Erissa saw Falco start to walk of, and made a decision. she would go with him, but if any of the others tryed to betray her, a crossbow bolt would be in their hearts before they could blink. she started to follow him, but first, she did one thing. she decided to drop her 'friendly' act. She unslung her crossbow and loaded it at an impressive speed, turned around and fired. the bolt struck less than an inch away from where Falco's arrow had hit. another rapid reload, and she spoke. "I thought all of you might want to know what would happen if you tried to cross me. i know how to use this thing, and i'm one of the best. i've fought worse things than a werewolf. i took out an entire fort full of... bandits... without any of them seeing me. in three minutes." She said confidently, with a touch of the arrogance altmer are known for, but winced mentally. again, it was obvious that she had lied. she was not very good at making up lies on the spot. but she did not want to speak of vampires unless absolutely nessecary.
she retrieved her bolt and followed Falco down the stream.

Allimir slowly followed Yule staying out of arms reach. This woman was dangerous. "I am Allimir." For once he was thankful for his more slender build. Despite the fact that he was thinner that most his leather armor hid tough muscles that were earned from long hours hunting and surviving with only the things he could catch. He watched as she picked up a shield and he chuckled to himself. Smart Girl. A shield to defend yourself from arrows. He realized that while he only had a bow many of the others had knives and other weapon for melee combat. He jogged over to the armory and grabed a huge leaf-bladed knife. "Now I am ready." He whispered to himself walking back over to Yule.

Yule looked over her newly aquired hide shield. It was extremely light, but would do well at repelling arrows, or rain if the weather turned for the worst, and maybe temporary protection from Hircines hounds. Looking to her right a coil of rope caught her eye. Turning around, she gazed at her new companion, and tossed him the coil to carry. "You have less on you, this could come in handy." With that the two made there way across the stream, to gather more nuts, and briefly coordinate their plan before taking off.

Allimir caught the rope and wrapped it diagonally across his chest. He attached the large hunting knife to his belt as he followed Yule. "We should probably head further into the woods. It will make it harder for them to follow us." He stretched popping each bone and knuckle that he could pulling his muscles taut. "We must make good use of this two day head start or we'll lose the advantage." He watched as two others made their way into the forest and he glanced into the large expanses of dark trees.

Allimir's eyes scanned the forest searching for any dark creatures that could be stalking them already. Bears and boar probably. Wolves would definately inhabit this woods. Maybe even more dangerous predators. Trolls and the like have been seen if forests like this. There might even be a giant or two. Who knows what Hircine has placed in his glorious hunting grounds.

Muno remained silent as the little display from both Erissa and Falco took place, choosing not to comment. He didn't need to show off to feel safe in his own abilities. If things started to get rough, he'd simply leave them and make his way on his own. It wasn't like his chances would be any worse alone than with a group of bickering 'warriors'.

Silently raising the axe back over his shoulders, he followed after the two at a modest pace, letting them stay a bit ahead of him as he watched their movements closely. He was beginning to form opinions of his own...
Falco wasn't going to lay down his life for another person, which was to be expected. But his quiet nature also made Muno suspicious of him. A little caution when dealing with him would be healthy, he decided.
Then there was the girl Erissa. She seemed young, perhaps a little unsure of herself despite her skill.... and without a doubt hiding something about herself. So long as the tension didn't effect the journy, Muno could care less what personal demons they all brought along with them.

He was going to be busy enough dealing with his own.

As they made their way towards the sound of the rushing water of the river, he took a quick second to reach into the pouch hanging from the leather strand around his neck, getting a dab of Moon Sugar on the end of his finger and licking it off. A little shiver went down his spine as the rush from the drug cycled through his blood, and his sensed seemed to calm. A little was fine. Too much and he would be hallucinating for hours. But if he ran out....

Well, he'd deal with that when it came to it.

After the Sugar had eased his nerves, he felt more comfortable walking closer to the others as they moved, his crossbow hanging from its belt along his side and his hood down to catch some sun on his face.
"It's almost beautiful, when you get right down to it..." he said in passing to anyone that could hear. The tall trees, misty mountains in the distance and rough but lush terrain drew his attention, and his ears picked up the sounds of twigs snapping.

"It's almost beautiful, when you get right down to it" Muno said.
"Yes, it is. views like this are quite rare. but you should see the view from the top of the Seven Thousand Steps" Erissa replied. "you can see for miles"
The group continued to follow the flow of water. Erissa heard a twig snap and tensed, but saw nothing
