History Lesson of FCOM : IV

Hi all

I am very interested in the history of how FCOM (UFCOM) came to be.

Could some of the more insightful shed some light? I think it would be fun to know the full background.

I think it basically goes...

devakm had some wacky idea of allowing people to use Fran's with OOO and MMM. 'Nuff said. :shrug:

But I suspect there's a little more to it.

Haha... You of all people... I expected a historic lesson from. That link was a sharp duck from the question.
Surely there is more in depth info to share... FCOM is epic. Not just some version history log.

I think it started with MMM for OOO, but I don't know for certain.

Frans was then included next with Warcry last then all the etc.

The only developments I've seen since dev_Akm took off is pretty much all from CorePC. He is the source now.

I remember it was called FranOOOMMM at one time.... I am glad they found a better name. Imagine typing FranOOOMMM everytime one had a installation problem
