Hit detection? Bad coding? Help, I'm going nuts

I don't understand how the "hit detection" work in this game. More then often, I seems to die so freaking fast (even with Maximum Armor enabled).

Typical scenario, I see someone and then start shooting at him and I do see the hit markers. The enemy simply turn back, start shooting at me (from the kill cam, he only hit my legs/feets) and then after 1-2 shot, I'm dead. All this with Maximum Armor enabled. Why?

Another scenario, from the kill cam and before, I get hit by 1 or 2 bullets only (not a head shot) and die almost instantly while I know that I hit the other player bunch of times (see hit marker appears 5-6 times). Again, this is all while using Maximum Armor.

This is honestly starting to piss me off. I know it's not lag. I've managed to find servers where I have constant 40/60 ping.

So, what am I doing wrong? Are those people hacking? Any pro players around? Please enlighten me before I go ape **** >:(

Not been able to try C2 online yet but this happens in lots of FPS games, most recently and notabley BC2.
See hit marker, see body gib/blood spray, hear headshot ding and still nothing.

Does my nut in.

That and getting shot round corners.

They're shooting you in the head. kill cam is not very accurate.

Thats because hitboxes designed for retards who cant aim and for console players, which are the same.
So basically this is stupid design decision to let lame player shoot anyone even if they aim to legs.

You're right, it's horrendously bad coding on the part of the killcam and the bullet rng cone. You'll have it a lot, the only thing you have to realise is sometimes you'll do it to other people and they'll be mad instead :>>

Kinda makes you miss CS ;p

Its the client side of things which is infuriating. I join a server at 20 ping, do i have a smoothe game? Nope. A guy with 350 (!) ping joins, and he can now shoot me as i go behind walls, as what he can see is me being hit. His client then tells the server i have been hit, and i die! Way to go Crytec!
