Yeah the hit detection is poop. Lol.
I know about the server lag and the not being close enough to the server as others which makes it look like they killed you in 2 bullets blah blah blah. But jeez, the hit boxes are atrocious. I hope it's updated eventually.

i think the one shot thing could be that thay seem to have one man as the host all the time as you can tell by the pings and a lot of the time they will be the hardest to kill kinder works like COD just not that tuned up right now i hope its somethink thay will work on

THIS for me....
It feels like I have to shot one guy for 1-2 sec before he dies but when somebody is shooting me it feels I die in 1-2 shots!
Very annoying! (Has been so in all my matches I played!) In Kill-cam my shots misses alot despite I "KNOW" I was aiming at the guy infront me!
Lag?

Despite this I really enjoy the Multiplayer in Crysis 2 :)

Hit Hit Hit? i thought this was the terrible tactic most people use to easily kill people by double tapping the melee. sometimes however when i need it the most it will cease to function and cause me to stand in front of my enemy looking like a pr*t.
definitly needs some more work done on this

Yea, this game is very fun but EXTREMELY frustrating at the same time. I'm experiencing all the same problems, empty a clip into a guy, he shoots me with one or 2 rounds, I die. Guys i'm following to stealth kill suddenly end up behind me. The hit detection is terrible, host is ungodly/unfair depending on if you have it or not, and the fact that everyone is always yellow bar other than the host makes for a truly terrible multiplayer experience beyond looking at the pretty graphics. Please dear god let there be a patch that can address this, or I may sadly have to cut my time short in this game. pretty annoying so far.

Most games I see the host going about 12-1 or 11-3 honestly, it's a major issue and dedicated servers would help.

really? Host winning all the time? You guys might want to re-evaluate your tactics because I get MVP all the time even when I'm not host. The host's that I see are usually down at the bottom of the list. I think the hit detection is at least on par with your average COD game if not a little better. I know you can't please everyone but I would say this is probably my favorite online game so far (And I am a heavy hitter in COD, Halo, Gears, and Transformers.) Don't get me wrong, those are all still great games but Crysis offers experiences you just can't get from other games. Just keep practicing and you'll get it.

all my best games are when im not host.... its prediction like every other game lately, all it takes is one guy with a horrible ping to drag everyone down with them.... host or not is simply a coincidence...

Do people realize that when you get shot you should automatically turn on your armor! Like duh, the guy engages armor and shoots back at you an kills you in 2-3 shots easily because your armor is not enganged. Step your game up people jeez, the host I see are always at the bottom for some reason. Stop getting frantic when you have the drop on others I suggest engage armor for every gun fight.

This^ but i will say not all the time. It all depends, sometimes we are being hit by another opponent and not realizing it. If its a 1 shot sniper rifle all spiffed up, then what can we do but die?

I enjoy the game but unfortunately like the op experience the same thing in mp. From my player stats in the game
12 matches
3000 rounds fired
46% accuracy
10 kills/43 deaths
2 melee kills
5 headshots
4 assists

so out of 3000 rounds fired 1380 hit of those 1380 rounds 5 were headshots so it took me 1375 rounds to kill 3 people (10 kills - 2 melee kills - 5 headshot kills). To me those stats right there tell me something is very very wrong with the hit detection vs actual hit damage. My logic doesn't account for the assists or the potential shots required to bring down armor for the headshot kills even still if I throw an arbitrary factor of 5 on my hits it still would have required 275 shots to kill 3 people or around 92 shots per kill. Basically my 3 other kills could have taken a single shot or up to a clip or two.

I have a feeling that registered hits on my end are not equal to registered hits on the server/hosts end so even though I have decent shots hit not all of them are actually causing damage on the server/hosts end.
