Hla Oad Expansion Remade

This is a WIP thread for Hla Oad Expanded. All of the main frame work is done. I still ave to edit some things and fix some bugs. Now all that I have to do is add Quests and Dialouge.

Background:
With the recent opening of the Slave Trader Hut and of the Mud Crab farm more people have been drawn to the seedy little town of Hla Oad. Along with the money. new shops, and bars there came some criminal activity aswell.

New Shops/Bars:

The Old Draugr
The Old Draugr is a bar/resturant ran by an Orc named Flig. The Old Draugr was made from a recent ship wreck that happened in the middle of the night. No evidence of it ever have being inhabitted or used was ever found. So how did it get there?

Black Magic
Black Magic is an illegal bar running underground in the old sewer. There are dancers and skooma. What more could you ask for?

Ararvy Weapons
Ararvy Weapons is a weapons store ran by a Dunmer named Ararvy. No one knows when or how he gets the weapons that he sells in his store. Will you find out?

Celegil Armory
Celegil Armory is an armory ran by a wood elf named Celegil. She sells armor that is unique to Hla Oad and can not be found any where else. How does she forge this armor?

Mud Crab Farm
The Mud Crab Farm is ran by a Dunmer named Midave Rarayn. the farm recently opened when a group of mud crabs came into the town. The people of Hla Oad rounded them up and put them into a coral like place. Midave was put in charge of them and he made it into a buisness.

Slave Trade Post
the Slave Trade Post is where a few slave traders decided to put up shop. You can find a slave from just about every race here. There is over 50 slaves to buy.

I don't know if you did this for the previous one or not, but, there was still the dialogue introduction (hasn't spoken to PC yet) and remeet messages of the duel. Just don't add the dueler to the main mod, please.

yea srry bout that it was fromm one of the armor mods that I used. I have fixed that problem. I am hopefully also going to get some help from Lordrea with quests and dialouge and a few scripting things.

I know that i am bringing back the dead but I have decided to not be a loser and finish my started but never finished mods. This will be the first that I do. I am not going to make it into seperate mods as said but I am going to take out the dancers in tha bar. MAinly because I can not get them to work properly. Also I have decided to add a few new things and change some old things. I am going to make the town look a little better as well in the process.

Nevermind. I found an old download that still works. YEA! SO I wont have to completely restart from scratch. Im still loking for someone to help me with dialogue and quests.

Good luck with this, I don't use city expansions but this looks pretty good.

thanks. I have so far changed two things. one is that the dancers in black magic have been taken out and replaced with fires. second is that Im adding tables and lights to tha outside of The Old Draugr.

-UPDATE-
I have finished redoing Black Magic. It still has skooma but it doesnt have dancers. I have also completed the new outside of The Old Draugr. Now that I have those two done I just need to fix some things with the Slave Trade outpost. Which im gonna change to only include beast races. THen I should be just about done. Im also still looking for someone to help me with dialogue and quests. IF I can find anyone I might be able to do some dialogue myslef but I wouldnt be able to do quests.

ok. there have been some minor set backs. for one thing my laptop wont allow me to overwrite the file for some reason when saving. another thing is that some things arent showin up ingame. so thanks to those im gonna have to push back the release date. Im hopin to get this out to the public my christmas.

Did you maybe open the .esp without marking it as the active file? If so you can fix the missing stuff by merging the two .esp's.... you may already realize this, just trying to help :)

yea ive done evrything i can. im not sure wat is causing it to act up. like in the morrowind menu to open up plugins u want to use it is there but it is not in the folder. which is another problem of mine. if it continues like this i might have to completely restart.

Wow, that is really strange, I've never had that issue before.... :confused: have you tried searching your computer for it?

yup. it comes up as a shortcut that the computer itself cant find.

~UPDATE~
I have managed to fix the dialogue error from before (I killed the little bugger). I have also gotten the slaves working correctly. WOOT! Now all I need to do is do some changes to the Interior of Black Magic and fix some doubling issues! Then Ill get some people to test it a beta of it. Then it shall be released. If all goes as planned Version 1 could be out by the end of the week!!!!

Looks pretty good! What is creating those floating blue fires at the Old Draugr? They look neat, but is the bar run by a mage? I like how you used the dark telvanni armor for the guards, looks very nice in-game! I can't wait for the release on this, I'm big on city expansions :lol:

Im not sure why I did them. I just thought they looked cool. Ill figure out a reason for them later. lol. Also you just reminded me that I need to add a few more gaurds. Lol. Thanks.

Are you perhaps testing with a savegame which you have saved over while you have your mod loaded? If you load your mod and save a game with it loaded AND THEN edit the mod, then that often causes doubling, try to make a new save or test it with a save prior to having your mod loaded.
