Hlaalu Business adds six more quests to the game, three to Dram Bero and three to Nevena Ules, who are both members of the House Hlaalu Council. The player must hold Kinsman rank or higher in House Hlaalu to do business with these people.

The quests don't give any Faction Reputation points so they don't affect your promotions through House Hlaalu. Rewards are sometimes generous, but in line with what the vanilla Hlaalu quests give you.

I recommend the quests for level 9+ PCs. You could probably do them at lower levels if you're sharp.

I hope you enjoy the plug-in! Feedback appreciated, both positive and critical, but no flames or rants please. This is v1.00 of the mod, I've playtested it a lot but there might be bugs I haven't found so I'm especially interested in any bug reports from you guys.

This is the first mod I've made that wasn't a minor game tweak. I actually had this knocking about unfinished for a couple of years. Originally I'd planned to do 12 quests total, which would be the 6 in the mod plus 3 each for Yngling and Velanda Omani, but ran out of steam. When I checked out the mod again recently I found the six quests were basically done and playable but buggy. I liked how they played out though and figured other players might too, so I ironed out all the bugs I could find and cleaned up some scripts to make it suitable for release.

I've an error when I try to download the mod. :shrug:

That's probably an issue with fileplanet. It hasn't been working for a lot of recently uploaded or updated mods.

No, no plans for that currently. I made the quests mainly because Hlaalu don't get a lot of mod love. On the other hand there's a lot of Telvanni content around, and if you haven't already then I'd suggest looking at Tamriel Rebuilt maps 1 and 2, Rise of the Telvanni, Uvirith's Legacy, and LGNPC Tel Uvirith (I did one NPC on that last one ).

Always nice to see more quest mods released. Perhaps one day I'll manage to play the game again instead of the CS, when I do I'll try this out. :biggrin:

And I beg to differ, the Hlaalu get a lot of mod love. Ok...fine...Balmora gets a lot of mod love. :wacko: And that's not really the same thing, but it's still something. Sadrith Mora doesn't really have anything at all mod wise compared to Balmora though. But after tinkering with Telvanni architecture in the CS I understand why people don't like building with it, since it's a nightmare to work with and get good results. :pinch:

Maybe you should build the structures of your nightmares using the Telvanni set; I bet it would be easier that way .

Mods like these are desperately needed in the Morrowind Mod Community. Telvanni have Uvirith's Legacy, Rise of House Telvanni and Building up Uvirith's Grave, in terms of quest mods. Redoran have PAX Redoran and Indarys Unleashed, as well as flavor/quest updates in several other LGNPC mods. House Hlaalu, in contrast, has almost NO mods that expand upon Hlaalu culture, quests, etc. in quite the same way. The LGNPC team has added some very effective updates to some Hlaalu character's dialogue, but Hlaalu has nothing as in-depth as PAX or ROHT.

Downloading immediately for my Hlaalu character. I hope you decide to add some more to Hlaalu!! I know Lady Galadriel was working on updating her Grandmaster of Hlaalu Mod. With your mod, and her update to correct bugs in the Grandmaster mod, hopefully Hlaalu can have as many interesting mods as Redoran and Telvanni

Looks like the Fileplanet server is still playing up, so the PES link isn't going to be useful to anyone. The TESNexus link is good though. Any other worthwhile places I can upload?
