It isn't specific on how it is better. Psycho on security? That's like saying you want the anger hoodie on the bug. You can't do it.

I really wouldn't worry. Pretty sure there'll be unlockable Revolvers and Machine/Burst Fire pistols in the game which aren't pre-order exclusive and will be in a higher tier than those that are. So you'll probably only be using those guns in your first week of gaming and even then they're likely secondary weapons so I wouldn't stress about having either.

Supposed to be a better silencer........

I imagine it will be similar to AoT where some suppressors give less silencing, but are less harsh on reducing the weapon's base stats.

Where did you hear that? How do you know it's not just a reskin? In a game with as much focus on customization as brink, that seems like a legitimate possibility.

I always prefer SMGs over other guns. No, wait, that's not true.
A more accurate phrase is: I prefer PDWs over other guns. Which - of course - includes the MP7 (or Hockler, in BRINK). And I love em silenced.

Sadly, there aren't many games which make a difference between PDW and SMG. And BRINK won't make a difference here. Though they have a PDW amongst their pistols, too.

"Now you should ask yourself: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, Punk?"

PDW stands for personal defense weapon, people don't usually know about PDW's, but they know that pistols are for Personal Defense rather than pressing forward, so SD lumps the PDWs in with them because of them having the same application.

I can also see similar logic in lumping them with the smgs, as apart from needing less rounds thanks to the armour piercing, they're pretty much the same.

As for my vote, I agree with you simply because I tend to go for short range rather than long range.

According to who? I've never seen any info say that any weapon or accessory was better than another one. Everything I've read says that all the weapons and accessories are very balanced, with the differences between them intended to be a better fit for differing play styles. So I'd like to see your source on this, please.

I know what PDW stands for. And technically every weapon can be called a PDW. But it's most commonly known as a weapon-type inbetween pistols and SMGs.

Now BRINK has the MP9 in SMGs and the VBR-B in pistols.

i really am worried about the sight though and are the pre order weapons included in the supposed 5 side arms? as much as everyone else is i just am not feeling the can silencer i mean its cool but not THAT cool.

I pre ordered the Hockler (I love my Steam and it loves me) but revolvers are so much better.

I vote Caesar.

EDIT: omgwtfbqq Necro post.

Well, at least it wasn't too old, and is a legitimate thread topic.

if you want a silenced weapon just put a silencer on your hockler, you might have to unlock it first and god forbid you have to do that

Yeah I agree with wraith the caesar looks like a tiny .38 special.

However in the weapon derivatives forum there is an unknown weapon based off of a bigger revolver.

The hockler looks like more fun honestly.

i always liked revolvers though, like mini cannons lol especially if ya find the right one in Borderlands

so seeing as i dont really plan on getting either pre-order my vote is not to vote cause there isn't other options lol

Caesar over Hockler.
Revolver over Machine Pistol.
Strength over Fire Rate.

One one hand I love revolvers, but on the other hand the Caesar /is/ pretty small as far as revolvers go. I vote Hockler.
