Hockler vs Caesar : Othor Games

I went with the spec ops pack only cuz it looks cooler but im wondering if the caesar revolver will b good cuz i wanna be like a spec ops security light operative but i want a silenced weapon n theres no way in hell im pre ordering 2 copies just for both weapons

I like revolvers better since they do more damage per shot.......depends on fire rate of the machine pistol because it may be half the damage of the revolver but shoot 3X as fast.....

Ya me too but i want the spec ops look n i guess there will b other revolvers n i can probably silence the hockler somehow later on

The only weapons you won't be able to silence (it wouldn't make much sense) would be the super-heavy weapons like grenade launchers and shotguns. And also you, hopefully, won't be allowed to silence the mini-gun.

Don't worry about being caught between one or the other because the weapons at least will be available as unlocks later in the game, probably as high level weaponry.

Most, if not all, assault rifles, pistols, light rifles, and sub machine guns will have silencers to unlock

I like revolvers. I have fired a few before an I just enjoy them. Always have. Plus I feel like Dirty Harry whenever I am using one. haha. So I vote Caesar Revolver.

The pre-order things call the weapons exclusive. I take that to mean that you cannot unlock them, and I hope thats true because I'm selfish. hahaha.

It would cause an uproar, especially about the machine pistol. It's unfair to the rest of the players that a select few get to have access to special weapons just because they had more money at the time.

@NHsports123: The items are meant as a fun bonus, you're supposed to pre-order so you can make sure you play the game on day 1 and thus gain an advantage over many other people. ( A whole 24 hours to play with a few thousand other people before the shelves get restocked)

I hope they're strong enough to hold their own. For example, in Black Ops, the Python can get kills in 3-4 shots. However, in other games it takes like 8 shots and is worthless........

I believe the pre-order only gives you the 'Sloani' face mask. the pants and vest they used in the add are either unlockable or part of one of the Security archetypes.

I don't know how fast you pull the trigger, but I can normally get 8 shots off in under 5-8 seconds. That's enough time to kill someone before the majority of console players even think to turn around and start shooting back.

But of those 8 shots, you have to account for those that miss. Besides, main weapons like AR's only need around 4 shots as well but shoot freaken fast as well......just saying I want a revolver to hold up against machine guns....

I don't expect them to give out an amazing gun in a pre-order. I'm fine with it being an average revolver. My guess it that it will be like a 3-4 hit kill close range. It's a revolver after all. Sacrifices reload speed and firing speed for power.

They aren't supposed to hold up to an assault rifle in a straight 1-on-1 firefight. That's why they're called "side-arms" or "back-ups". And if you're close enough to shoot someone with a revolver but you miss then honestly you deserve to get shot in the face.

I wouldn't be concerned that it would cause an uproar. My guess is that it isn't gonna be very strong. It will probably be just as powerful as any of the other beginning machine pistols. And yeah. They should be exclusive. But they shouldn't be super great guns.
