Also, the original Ak-47 design's made it nearly impossible to fire it straight while laying down, so they had to hold it sideways. Also with a pistol if you hold it sideways you can blindfire without exposing your hands, but it makes your accuracy go down even more. But no holding any gun sideways unless I can hold my pistols upside down.
Obviously havnt held an AK47 before. Having some experience, its an uncomfortable weapon in general and even though its got a tall profile, its as easy as any other gun to fire prone, just less comfortable, which is the bane of the AK series. Still, its cost to effectiveness ratio is staggering...
Holding pistol sideways should be optional, but you have to spend points to be able to buy that, just like any other customization. Doesn't hurt anyone and doesn't change the gameplay other than people having just another thing to spend their points on.
I can agree to that... So long as they have to still aim down the sights...

what the fff.... nevermind...
On second thought, i've actually have experience holding a gun upside down from a class awhile back... theres only 1 reason on the ENTIRE FACE OF THIS BLUE PLANET to even try this, being that in self defense, the disarm they teach you has multiple levels. Expert level disarms you actually end up with weapon in your hands, pointing at them, but sometimes it doesnt always work "properly" and the gun will be upside down, and the technique teaches you how to hold it and pull the trigger with the gun still inverted.
The only reason this works is simply because at the range your holding the gun (literally 1-3 feet, if not already point blank jabbing into them) its just a point and shoot.
oh and ak-47 = over rated
Except its not only the most inexpensive, widely used, most easily modable weapon in the entire world, but its firepower and reliability make it just silly... How many other guns can keep firing even while its so hot the wood is catching on fire?
