No, using a revolver or machine pistol, or any pistol to be honest, in this way, would break your wrist. I know this game isn't going for realism, but there's unrealistic and then there's just plain stupid.

I don't see the point of it myself but if there was time to put it in I can't see how it would hurt. It may hurt some people's image but that's about it. :hehe:

Guns have recoil. The recoil can hurt you if you hold it incorrectly. If you hold a sniper rifle incorrectly, even with 2 hands, you can blow them both off from the sheer force of the rifle for example.

Now you are holding the gun rather awkwardly. It may not be a howitzer, but it has recoil. A revolver has a lot of recoil. You can hurt your self because the gun can bend your hand in ways it shouldn't be bent.

Heh, when I said "I can't see how it would hurt" I meant I can't see any reason why it shouldn't be put in the game because if you don't want to shoot that way then don't. :laugh:

I know about firearms and recoil but even while firing a higher calibre pistol sideways I couldn't see how you'd hurt yourself, if you were going to hurt yourself then you'd be holding it even more weirdly than turning in over to the side.

98% of people dont know why people would hold a gun sideways... its not "gangsta" or any stupid crap like that... theres actually a really good reason, and purpose, and i'm not gana say because i wana see if any one HERE knows...

most likely you wouldnt unless you researched the history of it...

Btw, i voted no... because there wouldnt be a practical tactical use in a video game except negative style points...

On a pistol the only real reason is a hatred for casual bystanders.

Now, if we were talking sub-machine guns, it'd be different...
