Holidays

I was thinking about this with the Nordic culture that they must celebrate some holidays that could be shown, woudnt it be cool if it could happen. It could be prompted by a quest but even better if it happened by itself, what do you guys think?

In Skyrim, every day is an excuse to get drunk. So naturally Holidays are redundant.

Well, Oblivion had an in-game calendar, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch if certain dialogues/quests could only activate on a "holiday". Sales too? That would be awesome! I could get that enchanted daedric longsword I've always wanted  .

On a side note, Merry Christmas and God bless you this new-year!

There's already a thread going on the subject.
