Wow, Beth, it's like you're trying to restore our faith in your or something... :P

I'm liking this whole legendary thing, even if I've no idea how the legendary perks work or what it's supposed to accomplish. And a higher difficulty setting is nice, tired of one-shotting dragons on master ;)

I'll quote myself from the other thread:
I was kind hoping they didn't fix that.

This could also mean you don't have to level all those 'useless' skills, or skills you don't want, to reach maximum level and have all the perks you want.

I think...

Legendary mode sounds more like Diablo than it does TES,,,

Also, I think it's seriously lame that they aren't fixing the highly broken Blood on the Ice quest

Actually, I made my skills legendary and all my perk points went, as did all my perks, meaning I need to relearn everything.

So, legendary will be what ,3X damage received, 1/3 damage dealt?

I don't quite understand the description as it relates to skills resetting to 15, though...

Still, finally an impressive bug fix list. However, I liked that if I wanted to encounter a dragon in order to get a soul, I just had to fast travel....not the case anymore, apparently.

I'll stick with 1.8 and USKP for now.

Dude, Blood on the Ice is fixed, you sure you don't have a mod conflicting with it? It may be a fix that only affects new games, too.

Just be careful not to accidentally reset your only combat ability if you've only used one. You don't want to be facing draugr murderboss deathlords with a piddly 15 one handed skill.

So can you continuously reset skills back to 15, or is it a one time only per skill?

Actually, I was tired of NPCs getting killed by dragons, or dragons screwing up quests (although, having a dragon land and one-shot the entire group of soldiers poised to attack a stormcloak fort was pretty funny).

Yeah, pretty much. Which I think is a good idea.

Although, we're going to have to stop calling it "maximum level" now, since I think you can keep resetting your major skills as much as you want.

What is the point of this legendary thing, you lose all your perks and go back to 15? Who would ever want to do that, I would rather all skills be increased to 125 or something like that, not start all over again once you hit a certain level...

Yeah, i hope it's something smarter than that. But decided to nuke my save corrupting load order and play vanilla with the beta for a while, so i'll see myself soon enough.

There's no highest level anymore. You can reset your skills to 15 and level them up again, over and over.
It's a little scary, I have no idea how they're going to balance the DLC now - or how such a character will fare in the ones released so far.

This will not make the game more difficult, it will just makes fights longer and force you to carry a crapload of potions. Sheesh. Skyrim is easy because the AI is dumb and combat too simple, not because enemies have too little health.

Agreed, but I don't think Bethesda can increase the skill limit to 125. I would love to see something like that, and an exclusive perk tree for those who manage to get their skills past 100. But this is good enough for me.

You keep your perks. I'm not sure if your skill level is preserved, though (like, legendary 15 is the new 100).

I think the AI is decent, i've seen AI use traps to there advantage while falling back and using arrows as cover fire.

We need details from Bethesda.
