How long do the beta patches usually take on PC to be released on console? Two weeks?

I'm curious to see how different it is from Master.

Oh, now I need to shoot a guard three times to kill him, instead of just one :P

If it's optional, I can live with that. But I'll better leave you to test first.

So you can put then right back into the same skill you just rest.

Not initially. Your skill will be 15. I think you need at least 20-25 for even the most basic perk in most trees.

I don't think so lol.

"This will reset the skill to 15, return its Perks and allow the skill to affect leveling again."

I think so

Considering it's a beta update, it might take about 2-3 weeks, yeah.

True, but to get to level 50 you needed to train in a lot of skills that your character wouldn't even use. This gives us the opportunity to remain "pure" in a certain role that we wanted for our characters.

Fixed rare instance of couriers who would appear only dressed in a hat

Too bad. I actually liked this.

It might be possible, but then you'd have to reset a skill alot.

Legendary levelling = RP heaven. No more grinding skills you don't want to use!!! I just wet my pants.

I don't think so. I reached level fifty-something mostly only leveling skills my character uses, and so far only three of them have hit 100 (one-handed, destruction, and heavy armor)

Ok, so the legendary system makes sense now, after having a good look at it.

Essentially, you get a skill to one hundred, reset it, and you level up, thereby getting more perk points. It would be an incredibly slow process, but it will allow people to utterly ignore skills they don't give a toss about, and will also enable Bethesda to add more perk trees in the future.

Alright, I'm a bit confused about this Legendary thing.

You get your skills to 100. You reset them, do you keep the effects of the perks? Or do you have to earn them again?

I guess if leveling is all you're interested in, then yeah, it makes sense. Personally, once all the skills I'm interested in have capped, then I wouldn't care. I'd keep doing quests (maybe even a few radiant quests), and enjoy myself.

i don't know if I understand...

For example, If my lockpicking skill is 100 and I decide to transform that skill into legendary, lockpicking will be 15 and I can use the whole perks from that skill in another skills, plus level up?

I think GStaff needs to make how 'Legendary' skills work clearer ;)

Loving the fixes & new difficulty. Bit surprised at the response to the legendary skills here, as soon as I saw that my immediate response was fantastic. What it means is you can continue to level up a character dedicate to certain skills without having to level skills that character wouldn't use.
example: mages wouldn't have top level up armor skills to level up once magic skills are maxed, or my archer wouldn't have tpo learn 2handed weapons to level up once archery hits 100.

It's already possible to exploit the leveling/perk system with DB & beyond lvl 60 or so most charaters are pretty unbeatable. I'm just glad they added a feature to encourage dedicated charfacter builds, couldn't carre less about higher levels or perk exploits.

I'm starting to think that this decision looks like Bethesda is, in a way, 'admitting' that the Skyrim leveling system isn't that great, i.e., forcing us to level 'useless' skills to reach higher levels (and get more perk points ).

But then again, I'm probably wrong

But then If my destruction skill is 100, and I transform into legendary one handed, one handed will be 15 and i will be able to use that perks (the ones in one handed)in destruction to reach 150 for example?

I think the skills' maximum level is still 100.
