Holy crap!

I just watched the gameplay trailer with new speakers, and O MY WORD! :bonk: You can hear fire crackling in the beginning, you can hear the guys armor clanking as he runs, you can hear literally EVERY little peddle being disturbed by his running. But what sounds the best is the blood effects, and the arrows flying through the air. Bethesda has always had good attention to audio detail, but they really went over board with this one. I won't be surprised if they win multipliable awards for best in game audio. If you have crappy speakers you own it to yourself to get new ones by the time the game comes out. The more expensive the better! (just make sure your not getting ripped off by reading customer reviews)

Haha, it's funny you make this topic because I just bought a really spiffy pair of headphones today and the first thing I did was watch the trailer with them... I have to agree. That sound is incredible!

It helps that Skyrim is the first Elder Scrolls game not to use a 3rd-party sound effects library.

They really havent been that good with audio until they got the audio guy they have since Oblivion. Morrowind, amazing game, my favorite of all time....but terrible audio.

That's true, Morrowind's audio was pretty standard. The guy they've had snice Oblivion is amazing, my new four treble woofers, and my huge base woofer are going to show off his work pretty good I think. (ok now I'm just plain bragging, but seriously you guys should get speakers that will do the game justice. For your sake)

Hmm spiffy. Such a fun word. Your potential age/mockery of old people is showing. Or maybe you just like saying spiffy as I do supercalifr-Meh.
