Holy hell, that was a hard fight.

Just beat Broken Steel (normal difficulty). Holy christ, that was a fight for the ages. Escaping Raven Rock and taking back Project Purity was a cakewalk in comparison. Heavy incinerator and plasma rifle fire EVERYWHERE. The Enclave put up a fight for every inch of that dammed place. They may be inhuman monsters deserving only of hatred, contempt and focused gunfire, but they've got no quit in 'em. That counts for something, right?

Yelena was operating alone, no companions, and was using her preferred loadout; Laser Rifle, Gauss Rifle, Laser Pistol and Shocksword, and decked out in Lyon's Pride power armor and a composite recon hood. Totally outgunned and out-armored, I had to cleverly use cover, snap off a few shots, and move before the incinerators flanked me. I have come to really, really hate Hellfire troopers. Though Sigma Squad was a total walkover. The fight for Adams AFB and the thrash through the mobile base was a grinding hell the likes of which I haven't played in a long time. Gods, seeing that orbital alpha strike was so satisfying.

Now it's time to start working with the Brotherhood full time, clearing out the DC area and building something new from the rubble.

Why was Yelena using Lyon's T45d when T51b and Hellfire was available? Because she's a Brotherhood Knight, dammit. She earned that armor. The other two are simply spoils of war.

I had Fawkes with me, and he annihilated everything in that area.

I had Charon with me and he did not R.I.P but yeah that was tough i had to eat 46 enclave soldiers to stay alive.

I thoroughly enjoyed releasing the Deathclaws from their cages and unleashing them on the Enclave soldiers, aside from that it was pretty much just my Plasma rifle and Alien Disintegrator doing most of the work.

I would have to say that the fight with the alien starship was the hardest.

And the fight after completion of Operation Anchorage was no cakewalk either.

Both of them had me despairing of ever beating it.

Of course I didn't have Falkes with me then. :)

Well done soldier! It is great that you managed to finish the fight. Ballads of honor shall be written about you for the next one thousand years!

A slight suggestion- take the A3-21 plasma rifle when you play the end game. The weapon eats those Hellfire troops for breakfast. :toughninja:
