A home fit for a dragon-born

Post » Tue Jul 12, 2011 2:13 am

I want a floating magical mansion with sixy daedras attending my trophies.
I'd need a lot of showcase boxes and stands where I can display my collections of gears and dragon heads (people's too!)
Location is everything; center of land next to a big trade town. It'd be cool if it can move too.

Hollowed tree works fine for sleeping purpose. Some druids grow their house by planting several gigantic trees together.

For someone that defeats a god I suppose a castle is what they deserve.

However I would like to live in a log cabin in the wilderness, in the green forest near/next to a lake. I don't like large built up areas and prefer the peace and tranquility of nature

A Wizard Tower? Yes please. Alternatively, a simple stone house would be nice.

For my Bosmer scout she'll take her bedroll and set up camp as she goes
My Breton witch would want a pretty cottage, but with a dark cellar complete with cauldron for alchemy (but I'll probably have to settle for an alchemy workstation)
Orc artificier will have a stone townhouse with a yard for the smithy and stables

a wizard tower over there

I want a small house for my character, preferably something like a wooden cottage/cabin/etc.. Not very fond of castles and mansions, they don't have the cozy feeling. xD

Dungeons are for finding treasure. If wizards were not suppose to have tower then wizards wouldn't be associated with towers.
besides I don't have time for petty criminals.

Nice topic! I want a mansion, but I want a little bit of everything. No servants and by everything I mean I want a vast underground network, big castle like main housing, and portals to strange places too. Likeee say a portal to a balcony in the sky with an awesome view, a magic staircase that takes me to a tower at the top of a mountain. A portal to a strange place not even in Skyrim.

It would be a good mod idea... hmmm i'll remember I posted this. :)

I'd love something built around a dragon's skeleton. Perhaps something as simple as some leather hides hung over the rib cage to produce a sort of large tent.

As in hitting birds? haha
yeah I suppose you would want a dark place to perform necromancy to fit a macbre setting but if you have to raise an army of the dead, you'll need vast space to do so.

I want a longhouse made of logs with a living area at one end and a forge, workbench and anvil at the other. It should be in a fairly rural area with access to raw materials, but not too far from civilization that it becomes a major chore to travel to sell my wares. Give me that and I'm a happy little Nord.
