Is there a way to link the DC Home Plate Workshop with other settlements? Or does it get linked automatically with other settlements, since you can't create a supply line for it or to it.............

It doesn't link because you cannot have a supply line to it.

So what's the point?

The point is you can store stuff there without worrying about raiders looting it or settlers helping themselves to your good stuff....
