Hello forum! So has anyone else got to the point of roleplaying home searching and started looking for make-shift homes in the wasteland like me? No, im not talking Lucky 38 suites of anything fancy! just cosy buildings or rubble that you can live and store items at safely; if so post them here, thankyou.

oh yeah i liked that one too, its not remote enough - too close to action for me. Not to mention that they are so of target with their rockets they'd probably blow it up by accident one day.

Perhaps try one of the bungalows at Jacobstown? One is filled with pokerchips and cards. (Set pieces, sadly, so you can't take them)

Well, the bungalows are called 'Jacobstown Bungalows', so that sounds perfect for you. think about it, friendly Super Mutans. MARCUS!. Snow. Green Trees. It's a regular Utopia right next to living in the Lucky 38. :wink_smile:

I like using the abandoned Brotherhood of steel bunker. Its got 3 cots and a work bench to make ammo and guns.

Even now after earning the Brotherhood safe house i still use the abandoned bunker i can't leave it.

I'd like to irresponsibly distract the thread by requesting even more detail: Are there any safe places to store gear that one can fast travel too and get to in the early game? I'm level 5 on first play through and I really need a place to safely dump some gear. It is very tough to judge what to trash until you really hone in on a character's long-term preferred plays style.

not that anyone cares, but in the 5-10 times i played through FO2 i almost always killed the weapons guy (jules?) in west new reno and set up shop there..

i did something similar in my first play through with NV. after a couple quick quests to gain trust and enter the building with my weapons, i slaughtered the van graffs and their guards. i hated their attitudes. but i liked all those plasma mines! :nuke:

its not a house full equip but we can have a room in the motel of novac...its free if youre good

The Motel room in Novac is my favourite location.
