We can get carriage drivers and stuff, and that's cool, but I'd really prefer having some guards. I'd pay like, 5,000 gold for just three, appropriately leveled, people. It could be like carriage drivers and have your steward buy three guards from the respective hold to protect the place or you could recruit them yourself like you did your steward, just bring them to your land, ask them and/or pay them to be your guard. It'd be a load off, seriously. Then make a guardhouse an option to build outside, like how you can buy a stable, make a guardhouse too. Then they can sleep and take shifts and stuff, and it'd be cool. It'd be more work then a stable, yeah, but I think it could work. Overall, this should help with the constant giants, bandits, vampires, dawnguard, etc. just running into your house, killing your chickens and cows, and stuff.

Yeah that would actually be great. Sick of returning home to find everything dead.
