Just letting anyone who loves Homeworld and Homeworld 2 know they are being remastered and being released on steam in February 25.

You get the remastered versions as well as the original versions and a Steam homeworld beta multiplayer. I guess that is so we can play each other online.

I read a lot about those games but never played them. Are they like Sins of a Solar Empire?

I never played SoaSE much. I would say it's starcraft/Warcraft in space without the heroes. You have your mother ship and from there you gather recsources on asteroids. No colonizing planets. You do your research and make your ships from the mother ship in the begininig.

Never played much the first one but in the second one when they implemented pause and you can issue orders I played more. I just svck at RTS games without the pause feature so don't play them. I am hoping the Homewold (the first one has a pause implemented in it so I can finally finish it).
