I wonder if they have ran into a problem with the patch, because this is starting to become humorous [lol]. If it's a problem with the patch then take your time and do it right the first time. Please went us know something soon. [face_peace]

They're probably trying to build hype, but i dont think they know how annoyed we're getting. :brokencomputer:

No, they wouldn't do that. They've built up enough hype. I hope

I reaally hope it drops before Brink does, because I wont be able to get myself off that game once I start...

I totally agree with that, I decited to get that instead of L.A. Noire(black).

Well as much as I want to play more DLC for New Vegas, I would rather have a more stable game. Maybe this time when the new DLC comes out it won't bug the game out like it did for Fallout 3 and Dead Money for New Vegas.

The posts in this thread are kinda humorous. Personally a patch that fixes issues is better than nothing at all. They announced the info on the 12th. I'm sure we'll get info before the end of the month hell we might get the patch and the dlc content at the same time as the announcement. They've already said the dlc content is done and that they are merely working on the patch (which was delayed for at least day while people played Portal 2).

Just give them time. If they don't have it by the end of the month (or at least news of it) then you can [censored] about it. Until then though give them the benefit of the doubt.

I can't remember correctly, but did it take this long for The Pitt to come out after Operation Anchorage for Fallout 3? I remember feeling the same way with Dead Money as I did with Operation Anchorage, but the wait didn't seem this grueling.... I feel time has separated me from Fallout New Vegas entirely.... I'm ready to move on to other things, I tried to be patient...I really did.

Hope=lost.

monday monday monday!

in case anyone missed it, http://bethblog.com/ announced that there will be a Steam update on Monday, and they are attempting to bring the same update to console users.

Just want to make sure everyone's aware: The Burned Man is about to rise!

-happy dance!-

The best case scenario would be they are already working on the 3rd DLC.

I think funneling all the information/speculation/rumors/links/trailers/previews/patch news into a single thread is a ridiculous idea.
In fact, I just listed at least 7 different reasons why we shouldn't right there..
All's it takes to keep multiple threads from popping up is some un-lazy moderating.

Oh?
I know, I just love it when I want to find details on something that hasn't been released and I have no place where all info is gathered at one place.
It's just so much fun to search around in annoyance and frustration to find all the info.
You're right, we should split it up into multiple threads which will die out and derail and be copied several times over.
/sarcasm (If it wasn't obvious enough.)

Really though, at least Skyrim has an Info thread similar (But far more developed and fleshed out) to this one but personally I hate it when I want to find details about a DLC/game/patch/expansion/arcade/demo and I can't find any place where all news are collected and regularly updated.

What's better? To have one thread for each individual piece of info? What for?
Those threads die down or derail anyway and after a day or two a new thread is created about the same thing again.
It's far worse to have several unorganized threads that just end up a mess than it is to limit it all to one organized thread.

I also see no fault in it either, all the info that has been released is on the first post and new news will be updated into that one, if you're unsure of if any news has been released then just check out the first post regularly to stay updated.
And of course the thread can be used to discuss the info we have as well, just like you could in a thread about a specific piece of info.
[edit - I felt I needed to emphasize on that, people, you "are" allowed to discuss things in this thread, it's not strictly for posting news only, it's for discussion as well.]

I think Gabriel has the right idea, good job keeping all the info in one place and stopping yet another communist threat.

When I first heard about the Burned Man I kept thinking about "The Guy" he's the guy on all of Disturbs album covers and he looks BA just as I would imagine someone who would be set on fire and thrown into the grand canyon and lived. I have never seen anything about Black isles FO3 so that may clear somethings up about my not having a clue a bout Van Buren.

I haven't bothered to read this yet and I can tell by the length that your taking what I said a little too personally.
What I'm saying, is that while we were still in the speculation stage, keeping all the speculation in one proper thread was the right idea.
But now that we've moved past that, now that we are at the point where we are receiving official news, I think it's silly to shove all the new stuff in one thread once it starts coming on.
DLC General Discussion after all, is the entire purpose of this sub-forum.
Are you really saying that once official images or the official trailer comes out that it should all be thrown in this thread?
As long as topics are different enough, and aren't merely fueled by speculation, then it defeats the purpose of this sub-forum in general.
DLC is what people are supposed to be talking about.
If we wanted everything in one thread, then they should get rid of people's abilities to start new threads, and just create one big massive one.
