Honest hearts problem. ..

Post » Fri Nov 18, 2011 11:51 pm

I just bought honest hearts, I can't for the life of me find civilization. I know I have to go north but it's rocky and there are so many mountains I keep having to walk around it and i cant find my way though.

I have played for 2 hours, no civilization. Every tribe I come across attacks me. some of these charectors have names like 2 bears high fiving. But they all want me dead. I'm afraid I may have done something to mess up my relation ship with these tribes. I don't know what, I have only attacked people that have attacked me.

Is this a glitch in the game or is honest hearts just filled with tribes that want you dead?

Eventually I'll find my way north but I was just wondering ...

You killed Follows Chalk during the ambush. I hope you made a manual save before the DLC started.

No, i didn't. It doesn't matter though, the guy was trying to kill me so we probably weren't going to hit it off anyway. I'm gonna keep trying to get to my objective on the pip boy and hope I meet someone who doesn't want to kill me.

He wasn't trying to kill you. He was ambushing the last of the attackers. Ah well, better to just kill everything anyway.

Trust me Knockout, I don't ever attack anyone who isn't attacking me. He came up red on my compass, he was shooting at me, he hit me several times ...

For whatever reason, I don't know why or if he shot at you, he attacked me. It was weird. Killed everyone else in the party as well.

If you looked closesly he was literally right behind the enemy, so it could have been hard to spot him. Then you probally shot at the real enemy and hit Follow's Chalk which turned him hostile. Just start over and once you cross the first bridge, don't do anything.

I'm thinking that that tribe that attacked me was actually two tribes. I'm embarressed.

Well, this makes fallout new vegas , the best game of all time. The fact that misunderstandings that happen in real life happen in the game too.

Nevermind. just uninstall the add-on and reinstall it and he'll be alive and well just as before.

Once I shot him myself, I thought he was a white leg. The hit didn't kill him and he didn't become hostile. It is very easy to be confused when he sneaks just behind the white leg. At a disance wih a sniper rifle it is very difficult to see.
Strange thing is normally, if you kill one of the "important" characers in the add-on you trigger the quest "chaos in zion" and fail all the normal ones.
What is your acive quest actually (in honest hearts) ?

I just played through it agian. This time there was a white leg on this ridge. I zoomed in to make sure it wasn't, Chalk.

Then I entered vats and took 3 shots at him. What I didn't realize, when I entered vats, it wasn't the white leg anymore. Chalk must have killed him and then stood where he was.

Luckily, this time I missed Chalk and he wasn't hostile.

So I'm gonna be alright, I don't Like Utah as much as teh Mojave though ...

But despite having 3 kids, I think Waking cloud is hot. I've had a thing for bald chicks ever since Babylon 5 ...
