Immature idiots come out for three things. Threads where they want more naked chix, which makes sense given their standard age, Anything to do with Vampires, to a point where you would think the community would be most satified with a game about NOTHING BUT playing as a vampire, and lastly, FREAKING RIDABLE DRAGONS NO MATTER HOW STUPID AN IDEA IT SEEMS! Dragons are the ENEMY. Sheesh people.

It's way too hard to make unfortunately. There's a risk it'll feel stiff, parts of the dragon goes inside objects when getting too near etc. which will just lower the quality impression.

I have had very little experience with flying mounts that don't bring the word "stupid" to mind.

Dragons is at the absolute extreme end of that. Dragon mounts would be extremely stupid. Thankfully too stupid to make it into an Elder Scrolls game.

Eh, I remember using that Oblivion mod, I didn't like it because it killed all the exploration (like fast-travel)

I've heard that one of the dragon powers we can learn, is summoning one to aid us....not 100% sure on that......if that is the case.....dragon mounting could be possible....it's not out of the question if what i've heard is true.....but we'll see....DAMN,this game is gunna be awesome.

people seem to be so sure that all dragons are pure evil now, despite some evidence that there were some decent ones.

also, i always read that the empire and dragons were allies, more or less... so im pretty curious about why the dragonborn are being revealed as slayers and all that, now.

Couldn't we have a dragon shout to allow such a thing?

I'm a die hard dragon nut, and love the idea of dragon riders. However, as others have stated, it would not makes sense in the story, and would not fir the lore.

Having said that, having dragon models, I'm sure modders could easily create a mod with the construction set (as I'm sure there will be one) when the game is out. Which would be cool.

If you do at some point, I think it would and should be a singular scripted event.

...Is noone going to comment on the physical impossibility of riding a dragon without getting your private bits turned into mincemeat?

I wouldn't mind jumping onto a dragon while attempting to unmount its brain from its head.

Essentially, no, I don't want to ride a dragon about like a horse; I would like to kill a dragon while on its back, though.

Makes me think Shadow Of The Collosus, which makes it awesome, just like anything related to SOTC.

Of course there should be dragons, then there should be dragon armour dlc and mods to pimp our dragons. Mine will have neon teeth and massive bass.

I would not want this because it would make my character too powerful to have a dragon IMO is a sign of massive amounts of power

No. Unless the game breaks lore. The only character in TES to ride a Dragon did so through extortion and met a bad end.
Why is it lore breaking to ride a dragon? All you would have to do is tame one and straddle its neck.
