I do hope

I acknowledge that Oblivion Gates had to stop, but I do hope that The dragons keep appearing after the main quest, as I would like to complete the quest, along with being able to fight the dragons and gain the shouts you haven't attained.

Thoughts? :jammasterjay:

"If" the story is that all dragons die out by the final quest then they should all die out since it won't make much sense for them to keep appearing.
So if there is a definite reason for them to not appear then they should not appear.
If the isn't a definite reason for it then I don't mind them reappearing as long as there aren't as many/too many.

I wouldn't mind them staying there., It can always be told that they left with time rather then suddenly. After all, it doesn't seem like they even came suddenly.

I dont' think they'd spend all this time on dragons in Skyrim only to take them out for where ever we go in VI. They'll probably become much much harder to find, but I bet they'll still be there.

Well, the objective of the main quest is to stop Alduin. Killing other dragons along the way is just a way of preparing for that. So yeah, why not?

Yes, unlike the Oblivion gates, the dragons are something that I'll surely miss after the main quest. I want to be always likely to find one in a cave that I missed.

As gabriel says.... IF the Main Quest ends up being "kill off the dragons"? Then there won't be any dragons if you succeed in the MQ. :)

But we don't know if that's the MQ.

I'd like dragons after the main quest to be a rare breed. Perhaps only a few left deep inside caves guarding powerful treasures. A la LOTR Balrogs/Smaug

Hopefully they stay after the main quest is done, they've been around for awhile so I don't see why we'd have to kill them off. Although we'll have to see when the game comes out....
