I hope the hairs available look better than the one on the nord in the tavern. The stuff looks plastered to her neck and looks to be clipping pretty badly too.

Yeah, I didn't much care for the hairstyles in Oblivion at all.

I'm sure they'll have much more variety.

yes sir.... [censored] the haircuts were just terrible. I dont know about the other races but the options for Redguards in Oblivion dont even make sense (I didnt know http://cookiemonsta102.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/jheri-curl-8.jpg and perms were popular in Tamriel). Morrowind was better in this aspect

I don't know many games where hair is done well. Hell, I can't really recall any from the top of my head. There usually is a great limitation, and hair isn't free flowing and often clipping.
So, even with today's graphics, I doubt it will be all that great.

Tell me about it. I would much rather dreadlocks.

i do sympathise with companies and making hair look good. It is pretty hard. Video time!

That pretty much explains it for me. I for one, hope that people will start working on hair a lot more in the future.

I agree wholeheartedly. Oblivions hair choices were so lackluster, I'd rather have 5 good presets like Morrowind than what we had to pick from in Oblivion.

To be honest its not hard. Im not talking about physics but if you look at games like Fight Night 4 you'll see BGS has room for improvement. The models in Oblivion were just.... :shakehead:

And like I said it wasnt hard to tell certain races were almost completely ignored.

Yeah, can't compare a bunch of bald and very short haired guys to the complexity of actual hair styles.

Oblivion certainly wasn't great when it comes to hair, but they can not be compared.

I hope they have more choices for Khajiit, there was only 3 or 4 hairstyles that all looked pretty similar. The only hairstyle I liked in the game was "Windbraids".

Ok... so I take it you didnt even look? FN3 and FN4 both have a pretty large array of styles, so yes, I think we can compare the two. And I believe physics were applied as well... although I wont get into how well the hair moved.

I think, and am prepared to be corrected, that to do flowing, moving hair they would need Havok Cloth, and would have mentioned it, as a big deal has been made of the use of Havok Behaviour. So it looks like we are stuck with TES Lego : The Hairdo Strikes Back. In that case, please can we have a lot more choices, given the vast amount of other facegen options.

Ehmm, didn't I just say I looked it up? All I could find was bald and short hair styles.

I haven't been happy with the hair styles in any Bethesda game to be honest. Fallout 3 was just as bad IMO.

Dammit man, what is your definition of "short?" I've made boxers in both games and I will tell you there are a plethora of unique styles. Tell me, have you made a custom character? When you say you've "looked it up," does that mean you have never actually played either game? Sure not all the dudes have ponytails, but a lot of the styles were long enough to apply physics to.

But this is regardless of the point at hand.

Yep, we need HEAPS more.
The screenshot of the woman in the tavern bears ominous signs, as her hair upon closer inspection looked horrible.
