Hopefully there won't be a bug as nasty as the Vampire Bug. That was such a disgusting error.

I could make some snarky remark about it being your punishment for playing it on a console, but I think you poor console peasants are suffering enough with your lower-quality textures, AA, AF, display resolution, etc. :P

But yes, it's crappy when devs don't provide equal support for all of their platforms. You gave them your money for their game, they should make sure it works properly.

All versions of Oblivion suffer from a game breaking glitch. The A Bomb Glitch Of Doom.

There's a fix for the 360 version. Unfortunately there isn't a fix for the PS3 version.

Aren't pc users still relying on an unofficial patch?

Anyway, after release, we'll have a nice Skyrim hardware and software issues section, should be a good read pre patch.

Bethesda's general rule of thumb is that they'll patch it up to the point they release the Goty edition, then they'll stop. After that you've got to rely on unofficial patches and work arounds to fix your problems. Annoying I know, but at least be thankful your not going to get something as buggy and unstable as Daggerfall, or god forbid Battlespire.

Not if you download the Unofficial Oblivion Patch. Which you can only do if you play the PC version.

I don't think the UOP fixes that, I thought that there was a function in Wrye Bash to get rid of it.

What game breaking glitch made it in all versions of Oblivion? I don't think I've ever had a problem running it on my 360...
