Is there any reason as to why the game was released earlier in the us? i JUST moved from canada and it svcks, having to wait for Thursday at lunch to play the game. By then it's old news (to some extent)! Also i cant imagine too many people play it in Australia/NZ on pc so I'd imagine I'm just gonna end up lagging like a [censored] and crying off in the corner, especially if the AI is as bad as everyone says...

Im not enjoying jack. the game is flatout broken for PC. Missing textures, blue screens, terrible performance.

Hopefully there is a patch, and you aussie peeps can benefit from it.

Well - Main reason being is....US Game release days are always on "tuesdays" where as EU - Fridays.


Secondly - After so much forum browsing at 7am in the morning - I cant help but feel some what....dissapointed.

I could almost tell this was coming - but like all are Brink fans, i kept my faith.

But judging from the reviews - critics - comments - and constant problems

I almost feel this game was pushed out way before its time. Lots of work still needing done.

Patches MUST come to fix stability / performance issues - Also for graphical issues.

Judging from the "Tech" thread - Steam seems to be suffering the worse.

Thats why i always says "Its a gamble" when purchasing for pc nowa days.

But id like too think im wrong and hope someone soon comes on and proves me wrong - And shows some really good footage.

I feel your pain. I like operation flashpoint games too and the new one, Red River, got released April 20th in EU and Asia. Wanna know when US gets it? Somewhere around JUNE SEVENTH!

You have to wait 3 days for brink, I've been waiting two and a half weeks past release for RR, and I still have 3 and a half weeks to go.

sorry you PC players are having some big issues with the game. I was watching a 360 stream of it on jtv for a bit, and saw none of those things.
Not being an [censored] or anything, but wouldn't it be weird if the PS3 version is the one that runs the best...talk about a coincidence. :teehee:

there are tonnes of aussie gamers on all platforms. we have one of the highest uptakes on games per capita anywhere. i'm just hoping steam doesn't screw us over as it's still planning to release the game on friday rather than thursday when it's meant to..

also update your graphics drivers people openGL will fallback to software rendering if it can't do it with hardware. and when it does ...lets just say there is a reason we buy graphics cards shall we

It is impossible for software to cause blue screens. Though they can trigger something else that causes it. Take not of the error and google it.
