Hoping for a single suit of Daedric Armor.

Of course, a good part of why it was easy to find in Oblivion was because of the silly scaling system, that threw Ebony/Glass/Daedric all over the place once you were high enough level.

I expec it wont be anywhere near as rare as mw but wont be anyhere near as easy or common as ob.

If you work at it I expect finding new parts wont be impossible as long as your powerful enough.

I'm hoping for two or three sets of Daedric armor at the most, hand-placed, and maybe a VERY small chance to find a piece in random loot.

I'd like to see different kinds of armor... beyond glass, ebony, daedric... different versions and colors of each. Also with weapons - they play an ENORMOUS part in all the elder scroll series; the sword/axe/mace (etc) acts as your lifeline. I'd like to see different shapes of metal axes or blades that are looted from bandits or other NPCs instead of the same cookie-cutter glass longsword, shortsword, etc... It makes a big difference when you find something that's original and rare - like a crystal cutlass - or Thorn Mace of Kings. Even in random world items, instead of the useless tongs and brooms (sorry, not sure if modders use these items) I'd like to at least be able to smack the hell outta someone with a broom and possible use the tongs for blacksmithing. Beyond that, have more and different items.. the cloth you find can be collected and sewn into something for aesthetic purposes if not for extra bonus to armor somehow.

My suggestion is: rare, I mean REALLY rare to find daedric in random loot, and some pieces scattered around in hard to find places. Like artifact locations that are hand placed, but the game randomizes the items fro every play through. I've said aboutthis before: 1000 hand placed locations, 100 items randomized in them. No play through is the same, they FEEL hand placed, and you get a great feeling when you actually find something.

The game also needs super rare but powerful armor. Like how Morrowind had the Lord's mail, fists of Randagulf, etc. Also how there were different variations for the daedric helm. (Face of terror, etc)

Yes i liked this, in Morrowind it was almost impossible to get a full set of Daedric without killing Divayth Fyr.

But it is possible.

Anyway, I would like if there are really rare instead of having a limited number.
One is to little and Oblivion had too many.

In Morrowind, Daedric armor was incredibly easy to find for me.. In Oblivion, I didn't find any until it appeared in loot when I was level 30. lol

If daedric armor appears in loots but it's really rare, instead of the great joy of finding a daedric piece of armor, you could get really frustrated when finding a piece you already have. Maybe a chance reduction for pieces already in your inventory, could do the trick.

It should be at the same level of rarity as it was in Morrowind, not like oblivion.

I would welcome a rare suit of armor. Something that is really hard to come across that is very unique and there is only one of two of them in the world.

I massively prefer how Morrowind did it, but I agree that it should be random - after playing Morrowind 3 times, I knew where each piece was by heart, so the thrill of finding one was gone. I think this should be expanded to weapons too. It felt odd to me that there was only 1 and a half suits of daedric armor in the whole game, yet my chest full of loot (okay, corpse full of loot) quickly had 10+ of every daedric weapon.

Summary: We need hand-placed, very rare, random daedric pieces. Not only armor, but weapons too.

Deadric Armor is too evil looking for me ... I always play neutral/good character, and I never wear it. But it is great if you are a collector ... I love rare stuff because when you find them you feel great. I want Skyrim be full of rare items. Not just armor, but lets say a rare chalice or vase, rare figurine, etc ... Anything that is VERY rare, and hidden all across Skyrim.

Definitely needs to be rarer than Oblivion, where's the fun in scouring dungeons for loot when you can just kill a random bandit and take it off his back? I'm not sure about JUST one set, maybe two or three. If it is to be just one then it had better be complete, I drove myself to insanity searching for that last pauldron in Morrowind.

I think there ought to be more unique armour sets generally; e.g. loot the tomb of a famous Nord warrior and find his legendary armour!

Morrowind Rarity, I don't really like demonic armor anyway. I would prefer Adamantium as the the top armor.

i Think all armors except for steel, iron and some basic armors from common materials like fur or cloth should be rare.

I hope that daedric armor is rare, so rare that only a single suit can be obtained and it's pieces are spread thin across the game. I would love to get that feeling that ive found every single piece, and assembled an entire suit of daedric armor. What are your thoughts and feelings about this?

agreed. like morowind. Maybe some that survived the crapstorm In TES4

I think that we should get something that's even stronge and rarer than Daedric, like maybe Aedric.

Daedric armor should only be in possession of the most powerful, elite and influential imaginable and should be rare even amongst them to the point of being nigh priceless.

So to add my opinion... Yeah, it should be incredibly rare.

Daedric shouldn't be one single suit. Let it be like in Morrowind!

- Let there be one full single suit, whose parts are scattered across the land in very well hidden or very well defended places (or just very tough places in general).

- Then, let there be some cool, unique NPC that wears a full daedric suit of armour, like Divayth Fyr in Morrowind. One that's very very very tough to beat and that is friendly (unless attacked) as well.

- Finally, let a few daedric armor-items be worn very very very rarely by powerful and unique people as well, like in Morrowind.

So I'd say... let there be two suits of daedric armor, plus a few daedric armor-items on a few powerful NPCs.

Daedric armor's not that good and it has always looked terrible (read: demonic), in my opinion. So no, I don't think it should be treated as an artifact set. Having it be rare would be fine, but only one set in the game would just be annoying, in my opinion.

I agree, deadric armor should be EPIC, something you have to work for. I'm in favor of 1 or 2 sets only, hand placed... I honestly hate random high level loot in RPG's

but that would actually make it easier to obtain it. if it was hand placed once you found it you would forever know how and where to find it. in random loot you at least have to spend the 5 to 10 hours leveling up (depending on how you do it, you could level up way faster but you'd be super weak) to get to level 20 higher when it starts appearing. I most definitly don't want there to be only one or two copies of the best armor type in the game because that would ruin making multiple enchantment versions for that armor. it would actually be a bit game breaking.
