Hoping for a single suit of Daedric Armor.

but that would actually make it easier to obtain it. if it was hand placed once you found it you would forever know how and where to find it. in random loot you at least have to spend the 5 to 10 hours leveling up (depending on how you do it, you could level up way faster but you'd be super weak) to get to level 20 higher when it starts appearing. I most definitly don't want there to be only one or two copies of the best armor type in the game because that would ruin making multiple enchantment versions for that armor. it would actually be a bit game breaking.

Your assuming said loot wouldn't be guarded by several extremely badass enemies that only advanced (lvl30 +) characters could hope to contend with. This is the way the game SHOULD be. High risk, high reward.

I may wander into a place at level 5 and get omgwtfpwned! by something 1000x stronger then me, but then I'd just say to myself... What is that thing guarding?

Now when I come back at level 22 with much better equipment and can actually stand a fighting chance things are going to be very interesting indeed no?

As for multiple enchantment versions of the same armor... They could just make it so that with the enchanting skill you can gain a perk to remove and re-adjust existing enchantments.

Have more then one set of Daedric Armor but don't have it be as common as it was in Oblivion and only have it start appearing at level 20-25.

Then it would be too hard to obtain. It better be really good armor to be worth the effort and then you face danger of it being too powerful or too weak (over-compensation). I think it should be rare, but not one set.

(I tweaked the qoute a bit by putting in the numbers so that I could easily point out what I am talking about)

1. from that perspective it sounds like you want deadric armor to be a unique set of armor rather than the top tier armor type, I would agree with that as long as it was a unique armor I could not find else where. thats cool, but I don't think the top tier armor whethor that be deadric or something else in SK should not be just one copy, thats just my imo so we probably wont agree about this.

2. your missing the point of having multiple copies of the same armor type with different enchantments. for me I mainly use the following either on glass or deadric armor: fortify magicka on all pieces or feather on all the peices. I have them both simultaniously in my inventory so that I can switch from a looting mode to a spell fighting mode so that I can either carry as much as possible or use my super powered spells. It would be a nightmare to have to remove enchantments and re enchant ever 10 or 15 minutes.

I want Daedric Armor to be as hard to get and as exclusive as the Remnant Power Armor in New Vegas.

Forget Daedric armor, I want some dragon-skin armor.

But yes, the harder to find the better in my opinion. It makes it so much more worthwhile when you complete the set, especially if not every marauder in the game has a matching one......

I hope it's very hard to find, reason being is because i remem when me and my friend we're hyped up about getting daedric armor. Once i was level 51, i find vampires in caves wear random pieces of it all the time, making it to easy to obtain. But yes, i do hope there is only 1 set in skyrim.

the gauntlets were the easist to find!! they where the first pieces i found and were along the main quest

but i found the fists of someone the previous quest- so they were pretty worthless

Don't know about a single suit, but it certainly needs to be much rarer than it was in Oblivion.

It really annoyed me how you got a bandit in DAEDRIC armour after a couple of my septims I mean you want money sell the bloody armour.

I hope that it is considerably rarer but that the level being suggested is ridiculous. 1 maybe 2 sets in game is ridiculous and I'd say that for items with no special enchantment and no position as artifacts is poor design.

Maybe I missed the suggestion or everyone is overlooking it, but perhaps a form of Dragon Armour? Full armour grants immunity to dragon breath perhaps? Or is it just a foolish idea?

I disagree. I agree with the cocnept but it should be applied to a different and unique armor, there should even be a whole quest dedicated to finding all parts, Daedric on the other hand should be reasonobly rare (only top rank enemies have it) but I still want to be able to find it easily...

Deadric Armor is too evil looking for me ... I always play neutral/good character, and I never wear it. But it is great if you are a collector ... I love rare stuff because when you find them you feel great. I want Skyrim be full of rare items. Not just armor, but lets say a rare chalice or vase, rare figurine, etc ... Anything that is VERY rare, and hidden all across Skyrim.

as a side note to this ive noticed in TES games there really isnt a "Karma" system per say. There was a famous, infamous thing but it didnt really effect the gameplay as much as the good bad karma did for fallout. id like to see a more good/bad system from fallout and oblivion, but like a hybrid version.
Any thoughts on this?

I'd like it to be really rare, but not in the way that you'll have to kill npcs like in morrowind. Maybe like 2 sets that isn't worn by anyone.

the same amount of peices as the other armors is more likely to be in, and is better.

I hope that daedric armor is rare, so rare that only a single suit can be obtained and it's pieces are spread thin across the game. I would love to get that feeling that ive found every single piece, and assembled an entire suit of daedric armor. What are your thoughts and feelings about this?

I concur. One set, maybe 2 full sets at most.

I never wore Daedric as it was just too darn heavy.

Now, if they made a set of Daedric Light Armor that would be something. As for how rare it is, it should be rare, but not so rare that it is just a chore to find it.

I want one set available (without killing Diviath Fyr (so therefor two)), but not JUST two set:
- 3 daedric left pauldrons
- 2 daedric right pauldrons
- 3 daedric graeves
- 1 daedric cuirass (the one on some god-like npc (like fyr) you'll requirre an expansion to get an entire set
- 3 etc

so I want it kinda like MW....

thats is so [censored]...why would you need to buy an expansion, which they arnt even making, to get a full set? i mean sure make it rare but dont make people spend extra money for it why would anybody want that?

but they have glass for the best light armor...i would prefer it that way with more variety rather than having the same armor type but making it slightly less bulky and calling it light armor, seems like a lame cop out to me
