Horrible enemy detection AI

Look, I LOVE this game. I have an absolute blast playing it. However, when I entered the Corvega Assembly Plant, I got very frustrated. I walk in, shoot two raiders in the head, and I hear the raiders above me say, Huh, what was that?... then two seconds later, I guess I'm hearing things. So I throw a grenadr at two more raiders, shoot up one more, and again hear like three raiders on the level above me, Huh? Whos there.. Ah, must be the jet!

So I'm like whatever, I start walking around collecting all the junk, and every two seconds I hear them up there, talking, saying they hear something... Yea, you heard one explosion and several gun shots! Come get me! But no, they just stay up there talking as I'm running around collecting the loot. Say what you will about Skyrim's enemy AI, but at least they actually made an effort to run to wherever they hears noise. These raiders are eithet extremely high off of their jet, or there is no way for them to nagivate to the lower level. Not just that, but the 'warning' detection turns back to normal way too early, no investigating.

Anyways, love this game, it was just annoying listening to them talking as I was running below them.

If you haven't made it to The Castle read the black text at your own risk.

It's pretty weird. I will walk into a raider owned building and pop a shot, hoping they will charge me, and they do exactly what you said. "I just heard a gunshot....must be nothing" On the other side, I'll sneak in range, unnoticed, throw an artillery smoke grenade, sneak away, but as soon as those bombs start dropping they know exactly where I am.

Have you seen how little resource it takes to make jet? of course they're wasted.
