My computer is an hp HDX dragon 9494-nr
-C2D p8400 2.1ghz
-4 Gb ram
-Geforce 8800 GTS 512mb

I was able to run this game at ultra settings, but after formatting and reinstalling, it's completely unplayable from the lag. As soon as I start the game, the intro screen skips several frames at each "slide" and the mouse doesn't really move, it just kind of re-appears a second or two later on the other side of the screen. The game itself is just as bad. the intro movie works perfectly though. I've reinstalled the newest geforce drivers, I've tried the ones from the nvidia website, the ones from the hp website and I've even tried a driver from before the 180.00 series on the nvidia website because of a possible issue ressemblind mine i read about on google. I've tried numerous tweaks such as using only 1 core in the .ini file (even though the problem was on tri and quad cores), i've tried the ifpsclamp mod, i've killed vsync and dones numerous clean reinstalls. All my other games (bioshock 2, sc2 etc..) run smoothly. Also, I've installed the latest directx, .net framework, codec packs (and programmed ffdshow to not be used in fallout 3), i've turn off vsync manually on my graphics card control pannel at one point, tried to remove my page file. if anyone has any idea, i'm pretty desperate.
