Horror of The North RP

I don't know about the rest of the team, but had never come across a werewolf that could control its ability. I scared me when Goliath turned, I thought that he was going to turn around and try to kill us. Thankfully, he killed the alpha of this werepack.

The wolves and bears were now all completely confused, and most of them were leaving. The vampires, being feral, were still after our blood; but without the stronger monsters to help them they were making stupider actions. A vampire charged straight at me, despite his advantages being speed and agility, and I took him out with a lunge, right into his sternum.

I turned around to follow Goliath's orders and retreat back to the campfire, and saw Aitor, now conscious but severally damaged. well, its worth a try. I shouted the strongest healing Thu'um I knew, and was instantly out of air. From were I was, It looked like Aitor's bone had gone back into place and the skin was slowly patching itself, but I wasn't sure.

Because I was out of breath, I was incapable of repairing my armor for a while. So I moved back out a little bit and started fighting off the rest of the feral beasts.

OOC: if I had just said that it was slowly healing, would that have been character controlling?

OOC: Woah, slow down, guys. I can't keep up! :)

IC:

I heard Goliath yelling for us to return to camp, but I was busy. Two vampires charged me, but I knocked them into one another with the back of my spear, then ran them both through.

I quickly ran over to my bow, and kicked it up into my hands. I slid it onto my back, then turned around, just in time to see a huge werebear charge towards me. It was close, too close to run away from, but I could dodge it. I waited until the last second, then bent backwards under the beast's paw, balancing myself parallel to the ground with my left arm and my tail. Snarling, I thrust upward as hard as I could with my spear, driving it into the side of the werebear and out its back.

The bear stumbled backwards, roaring in pain. I ran upt to it, dodged under another slash, then grasped my spear and pulled it out of the beast. It roared again, and stumbled a few steps more backwards. I stabbed it once again, this time in the throat, and it tripped and crushed a couple of fleeing vampires into dust. Why were they running?, I thought, confused. I looked towards camp just in time to see a Goliath, who appeared to be a werewolf now, finish off a huge black werewolf, who was obviously the leader of this band of monsters. Goliath? A werewolf? I thought, puzzled by this development. He seemed to have control, however, so maybe it wasn't that bad of a revelation. I could hear him yelling something, but I couldn't tell what.

Since all of the monsters close to me were either dead or running away, I jogged back to the group. On my way there, I noticed that Aitor was in rough shape. His armor was gone, and he was laying on the ground. His back was messed up, but not from this battle. It was an old wound. Between Balarithgaer and Hjolifur, however, he seemed well taken care of. I also noticed that a new person was with us. I could tell he was a vampire, but he seemed to be one of the more civilized ones. Cyrodiilic strain, perhaps? I wondered absent mindedly.

As I watched, however, I saw Veronika accelerate towards the newcomer, with weapon raised. She's going to attack him! I wasn't particularly fond of vampires, but this one had helped us out. I couldn't let Veronika repay his help with murder. I ran, and caught her axe with my spear, stopping it inches from the vampire. Angrily, I said, "What are you doing?!?! He helped us, and you attempt to kill him?"

Victory was within reach, so close within her grasp. But something stopped her efforts. Her axe suddenly slipped from her fingers, it wasn't long before she noticed the Argonian fellow use his spear to catch her weapon before it could fall on the vampire. Veronika's eyes was bright with rage, lupine pupils stared into the Argonian fellow, Broken-Scale.

"He's a vampire!" Veronika hissed angrily "I smelled him from across the field." Veronika added, she knew she did "wrong" in their eyes, but the only good vampire is a dead one, one that's ash. Dead should stay dead. Veronika bitterly looked at the vampire, he wasn't feral like the others, but she did know he was probably like those Imperial ones who can disguise their nature. While she didn't have qualms about that skill, she hated any kind of vampire. To make up for her failed attempt, she picked up her axe.

"Masters of deceptions. I don't trust these leeches. They can help you one moment, but next moment you won't even know it killed you" Veronika barked, holding her axe tightly. She walked off towards Goliath. Her back was faced towards them two, she didn't look back but kept talking.

"As if we need another creature in this team."

"Another creature," I asked "don't we only have one?" I wouldn't mind having a few others as powerful as Goliath, but too many is just scary. maybe this was a trap, maybe King Thain is a were-monster... I'm crazy. But those Were creatures had some force driving them, and I know that it is not Hircine.

Veronika shot a venomous look at the brown haired, blue eyed Nord. Her voice stern and unforgiving with the presence of a vampire, she stopped and spoke from a distance. "No. As of now we have three." She stopped.

"What do you know of Hircine, anyways?" Asked Veronika agressively, crossing her arms at her chest and staring at the nord. She wasn't particularly fond of speaking about her own Prince in the open with those who did not serve him, but she couldn't help but allow her curiosity to drift. If Hircine didn't send these hounds, then who did? She doubted it was anynone else, after all, only he controled the Werecreatures. The inner tormoil inside began to surface, never in her life had she encountered another Lycanthrope who can control their transformation, besides the one who had a special artifact given by Hircine to free himself and his slave friends back in Morrowind in exchange for a "leash". But that was a different situation, as far as she knew, Goliath had no special trinket with him, he learned anew tecnique. And Veronika wanted to know how he got it.

OOC: Whew! Sorry guys. New Vegas is [censored] amazing, nuff said. (That and I'm studying for my GED) Alright, lets get this awesome train back on its tracks, shall we?

IC:

Goliath was merely laying on the ground, his thoughts and muscles ached. The wounds he had received from the fight with the Alpha were just beginning to heal, and ever so slowly did they as blood soaked the snow. Goliath used his sword to prop himself up into a kneeling position, facing the rest of his group. There had been a small quarrel between the new-comer, a civil vampire by Goliath's judging. Veronika naturally wanted him dead, Goliath was somewhat in agreement, however, this new hunter proved useful. Only time would tell if he would stab the group in the back; such was the commonplace and practice of the "civilized" vampires of Tamriel.

"Everyone, get rest, no beast will dare enter these grounds this night. Too much of their blood has been spilled, and they find themselves leaderless, for now." Goliath glanced across into the forest, recognizing the disembodied head of Rolf among a pile of emaciated flesh and bone. "Our guide is gone, we will continue at noon tomorrow, and be a Kraag by dusk. Now, all of you, get well rested as there is no need for a watch tonight. Veronika, I would like to speak with you." Goliath announced to the others. He then got to his feet and put his arm around Veronika, bloodied and satisfied by the violence that night, but clearly in distress over the newcomer. Goliath led her behind some rocks, to a more secluded location. "Wait here." He said, walking over to the corpse of the black Alpha, picking it up and lugging it back to where Veronika was.

"Do you wish to become one of us, sister? The Free Masters of the Hunt." Goliath awaited her answer, eager to hear it.

((Short I know, but I just want to get things going again. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves and do whatever. Once The scene I have planned is over, we'll time-skip to when we leave and arrive at Kraag.))

OOC: Oh yeah it is one awesome experience I can hardly put it down. Anyway...

IC: Nathaniel watched with great interest as the two werewolves faced off. The conflict was brutal but brief as the nord emerged victorious flinging the heart of the slain wolf over to it's allies. The enemy broke rank and fled just as Goliath reverted as he collapsed in camp. As he watched the nord out of the corner of his eye he saw the imperial with axe raised aiming to kill him. Nathaniel began conjuring a disintegration spell but it was not needed. The Argonian of the group dashed over spear drawn blocking the axe just as it was going to cleave Nathaniel's head.

Angrily, the argonian said, "What are you doing?!?! He helped us, and you attempt to kill him?"

"As if we need another creature in this team."

Nathaniel was somewhat upset about what had transpired he aided these people in their time of need and he was repaid with an attempt on his life. Nathaniel turned towards the Argonian, "Thank you for your timely assistance, I appreciate it", he said with a bow. Turning to leave he noticed the Nord was getting back up.

"Everyone, get rest, no beast will dare enter these grounds this night. Too much of their blood has been spilled, and they find themselves leaderless, for now." Nathaniel decided it would be in his best interest to leave this bloodthirsty group immediately. "Nord, it would appear that your party is large enough as it stands and with your obvious hatred of my kind it would be better if we parted ways. I will cause your group no ill will so all I ask is the same courtesy in return."

Veronika watched as Goliath dragged the carcass to her over on the secluded area. And he finally asked her the question. Veronika's mind raced, did she really want to break free from Hircine's blessing and embrace a new gift entirely? After all, he did give her everything she needed...for a price. A price she didn't mind to pay, sacrificing others. As long as it wasn't her, it made no difference. But what if she broke free? Would she be deemed an enemy to Hircine, would he hunt her down to kill her just as Goliath's sister was hunted down for no apparent reason. Veronika bit her lip, trying to conjure up an answer, but deep inside, the true idea of freedom was just too good to simply pass up. Freedom was something earned, not something bought. At least for her. It only made sense to accept a gift when it came her way.

"Yes" Veronika nodded. "I want to learn"

After a short while, I found some lavender to chew on, helping estore air to my lungs. Then I slowly took my armor off and began the daunting task of fixing ever dent and scratch. I'll never let myself take such a beating again I swore. The Nordic iron was the hardest to fix; the metal was the tickest and harder to shape.

Veronika – who by now I had guessed was a werewolf due to her odd transgressions with Goliath, her superhuman strength, and her comment to me about there being multiple supernaturals in our party – helped Goliath drag the werewolf alpha to the side. I assumed from their facil expressions that Goliath was helping her with something. perhaps she has a broken talon I laughed at the idea.

Just as my greaves were finished being repaired, the vampier who had helped us said, "...it would appear that your party is large enough as it stands and with your obvious hatred of my kind it would be better if we parted ways. I will cause your group no ill will so all I ask is the same courtesy in return." I was actually insulted. "Please kind vampire, don't judge our entire group based on the actions of an individual. Veronika and that Dunmer might be hard to live with, but its worth it to destroy the plague of werebeasts attacking our land."

Before he answered, I began straightening my blade, and slowly made progress. Shouts are better for weapons upkeep than hammers because, well, I don't know how to use a repair hammer, but also because I can sharpen a blade as many times as I want with a precise control of the thin-nes, length, and sharpness of the edge that only master armorers can match. Further, It removes no metal, only reshape it, so no matter how many generations of Tongues repair a blade – and many, many have repaired weapons such as Ysgramor's claymore – it is just as strong.

Veronika stalked away, yelling how the newcomer was a vampire, - like I couldn't tell- and how he needed to die. Eventually, she walked off to the side with Goliath, who was dragging the corpse of the alpha werewolf. They were talking, but about what, I had no idea. I could guess, however. Between the realization the Goliath was a werewolf with control, and Veronika's own actions, I guessed that she was a werewolf, and Goliath was offering her control. I found that dangerous to give someone so unstable the ability to control her transformations, but I trusted Goliath to keep her in line.

The vampire turned to me, and said with a small bow, "Thank you for your timely assistance, I appreciate it" then turned and walked away. I watched him carefully. I may have kept him from dying, but I didn't trust a vampire to not feed on us when we turn our backs. He announced to Goliath, "Nord, it would appear that your party is large enough as it stands and with your obvious hatred of my kind it would be better if we parted ways. I will cause your group no ill will so all I ask is the same courtesy in return."

I thought it was smart of him to think so, but Hjolfur thought otherwise. "Please kind vampire, don't judge our entire group based on the actions of an individual. Veronika and that Dunmer might be hard to live with, but its worth it to destroy the plague of werebeasts attacking our land," he said to the vampire, then proceeded to sharpen his sword.

I shook my head. "I think it would be for the best if you left, vampire. I don't trust your kind, and I believe many of my compainions feel the same. I wish you no ill will, but I also don't wish you to stay," I said adamently. I realized that I sounded harsh, so I added, "No offense," then walked off to the rocks at the back of camp and leaned back against them, tired and sore.

'Goed Rust'

"Oh, don't listen to him. Argonians are never happy with anything, particularly when it's cold." Gille chimed in, taking a seat nearby. Though he didn't look nearly as battered as some of the others, the mage had different battle wounds to tend to, as any spellcaster did after a heated battle. "And some of our party are downright asses, nothing to do about that. Some call it survival instinct, I call it not being able to cope. I'm sure there's plenty of people without hard feelings for vampire; I'm fine with you people, for one, though I hope you don't happen to have relatives along the Iliac." The spellsword yawned, moving his head around in a search for a softer spot. The fact he was resting his head on a rock did not seem to deter him. "And even if everyone else asides from me and Hjolfur here do hate you, I'm positive they'll try to make it as unobvious as they can."

Although the vampire might've interpreted his words to completely lack seriousness, Gille was being truthful - he didn't hold ill feelings against vampire, or werewolves for that matter. This all was just business, as were his other run-ins with them; though the line between a professional approach and just killing everyone for the sake of it could get a little blurry sometimes when one's life was on the line, he could always find it when reflecting on past events. It was better to have no personal feelings when it came to his occupation, or it was all too easy to lose one's self. Fortunately for him, Gille's whole family was like that - quite detached from the world around them, only interested in getting the most out of life. Precisely the motivation behind giving him away to the Mages Guild.

Call it selfishness, I call it knowing how to live. Wrapping himself tighter in his robe, Gille was beginning to lose interest in his surroundings. Whether the vampire stayed or left never concerned him much in the first place; it was just an episode in this fairly crazy (at least so far, and it didn't look like it'd be getting much better) journey of theirs. Between having werewolves who can turn at will, heaps of werewolves, surprisingly feral vampires and a small niggling doubt still present in the spellsword that something was off about this, he had more than enough on his hands to truly commit to another problem.

Vampire! I thought as the Imperial attacked the newcomer. She held her axe high and proclaimed thst she had smelt him from across the field. Smelt him? Broken-Scale stopped the Imperial from smashing the vampire to chunks and slices of meat. I too wanted to wring his little neck, but something was stopping me. "As if we need another creature in this team," The Imperial spoke rather bluntly. The vampire looked a tad offended by the attack. He turned to Goliath. "Nord, it would appear that your party is large enough as it stands and with your obvious hatred of my kind it would be better if we parted ways. I will cause your group no ill will so all I ask is the same courtesy in return."
Other members of the group pitched in their opinion, as Goliath and the Imperial dragged the carcass of into a secluded area, away from us. I didn't say anything with or against to vampire, but I wanted him dead pretty bad. Vampires are scum of the earth. I clenched my fist in the prescense of the vampire and stared right at him with full contempt.

OOC: Okay guys, time to get the wheels rolling!

IC:

Goliath nodded, "Come with me, sister." He picked up the Alpha's carcass and led Veronika well away from the camp, to another small outcropping of rocks. He threw the carcass to the ground and turned to Veronika, he began taking off his gear, leaving only a loin-cloth (for modest reasons) and his Alpha-Skull pauldron on himself. He then changed, fur growing thick about his muscular frame, becoming taller and even stronger by the transformation. He now spoke again, "Sister, kneel right in the center of the these stones." His voice was soft, but again his voice had changed with his body, becoming deeper and raspy. Veronika did as she was told, wary yet submissive, eager to see what Goliath was about to do. The large Nord now began an arduous process, he unsheathed a ceremonial blade, no longer than Goliath's forearm. He skinned the great black Alpha Werewolf, then dug out Ash-wood, 4 candles, and three rare herbs.

Goliath used the blade to draw a pentagram around Veronika, with her in its center, and the tip directly in front of her where Goliath piled; three logs of Ash-wood, the kindling, and the sacred herbs. He then took the candles and placed them at the corners of the other four points of the pentagram. One was blue, another brown, the other two red and one a strange clear looking candle with white swirls that almost seemed to float about the wax. One by one, Goliath lit them. He then used each candle to light the fire, then returning them to their places. Once the fire was lit, Goliath crouched on a rock in front of it, adjacent to Veronika. His yellow eyes blazing into her eyes. Then the great Nordic Werewolf began a low humming chant. It soon became a growling, rumbling chant.

Finally, he began to chant in words; words that had not been spoken, or written for nearly a thousand years, when the Atmorans walked Nirn.

MorUlv Mor ?nd Mor Hunter

Komm til en s?nn, bevilg en fav?r, motta en ny jeger inn i din pakke !

The flames from the small fire that sat before Veronika began to spit blue and green ashes and charcoal. The candles Goliath had placed melted as the flames burned hotter than a blacksmiths' armory. The wind picked up as all the trees in the forest groaned and creaked, Goliath leaped from his rocked, over Veronika, and knelt behind her, his head bowed in grace. A swirl of snow appeared before the Veronika and Goliath. It dissipated and before the two stood a great White Wolf, not a werewolf, but a regular wolf. It sat on its haunches and looked about the ritual site. Then it spoke, its voice was female, soft and yet commanding. "Goliath, my son. You have summoned your mother for a reason, is this the hunter you spoke of." The White Wolf asked. Goliath answered, his head still bowed, "Yes, Matron Huntress, this is Veronika, a servant of Hircine who wishes to break the bonds of his enslavement."

The Matron Huntress then took on another form, this time, that of a werewolf, still with billowing white fur. She walked towards Veronika, and knelt in front of her. Veronika's head was also bowed, the Matron Huntress put her right hand under Veronika's chin and raised her head, the two now face-to-face, eye-to-eye. "I have watched you. Your family as well. You have a bloody past my young daughter." The Matron Huntress paused for a moment, smiling a soft smile. "Do you wish to become a free hunter, like my son Goliath?" Veronika answered the great Matron, "Yes, I do." The Matron Huntress then stood and spoke to Goliath, "She will be yours to watch over, as I shall watch over you. Continue with the Breaking of Bonds, Goliath. I shall watch." The Matron Huntress reverted back to her wolf form and watch from atop a rock.

Goliath took the skin of the Alpha and dragged it over to Veronika, laying it over her shoulders, and pulling its head over hers. "Stand, sister." Veronika did so. Goliath once more stood in front of Veronika and the still blazing fire, he threw in more of the three sacred herbs. Smoke now billowed from the fire, "Breath deeply my daughter." Said the Matron Huntress. Veronika did so, at first the smoke made her eyes water and her lungs burn. Soon though, she felt an overwhelming sense of peace and utter numbness. The Alpha's skin began to wrap itself around Veronika's body, soon enough she was the image of the Alpha that Goliath had just fought, but she had her own marks still about her.

While Veronika still breathed deeply, eyes closed, the Matron Huntress calmly padded over to Veronika and bit her hand, as did Goliath. Veronika felt nothing, in her state of complete bliss. Soon, whispers and roars filled the ears of Goliath and Veronika. All across Tamriel ones like Goliath, free Masters of the Hunt, began to look at the moon and chant. They all knew what was happening. Some were Argonian and Khajiit, some Mer, others Men. They all chanted in unison, however far apart they were, they chanted as if they were right next to one another.

Goliath and the Matron Huntress then released their jaws from Veronika and gave a mighty howl. All across Tamriel, The Free Masters of the Hunt did the same. Veronika's eyes flew open and she fell to her knees, howling with all her might and spirit as the Bonds of Hircine began to break from her. She felt a great weight lift off of her, she felt alive, she felt freedom for the first time in her life.

Goliath and the Matron Huntress, who was now a werewolf once more helped Veronika to her feet. Goliath still stood taller then either one, but they all were family. The Matron Huntress embraced Veronika, "Hello, my daughter. The bonds have been broken, you are one of us now. May Hircine and his hounds whine and suffer at the loss of such a great huntress. Goliath then embraced Veronika, who was still in werewolf form as well. "My sister, you are free. You have chosen a brave path, one that will bring you true happiness. One that Hircine could never have offered." He then turned to the Matron Huntress, "Thank you, Mother." The two embraced and the Matron Huntress rubbed her muzzle against Goliaths'. "I will see you again soon my son. You as well my daughter."

Within an instant, and a leap and a bound, the Matron Huntress disappeared into the snow as breeze picked up the soft powder. Goliath heaved a sigh, then turned to Veronika, "How do you feel?" He awaited his new kin's answer.

"Oh, don't listen to him. Argonians are never happy with anything, particularly when it's cold." I heard one of the Bretons - Gille, I think his name was - say to the vampire. That comment elicited a chuckle out of me. I couldn't argue with it, that was for sure. I listened as Gille proceeded to tell the vampire that he had no problems with his kind. He walked away, wrapping himself in his robe and apparently drifting into thought.

I glanced towards the other Breton, Gabriel. He was staying quiet, but his expression and his clenched fist indicated that he disliked this vampire very much, though it may have been a dislike of all vampires, not this particular one.

But the rest of our group was surprisingly quiet. None of them threw in their own opinions, or at least not yet. I got bored of the silence, and turned towards Veronika and Goliath, but they walked further away from the camp, far enough to not be heard. I thought for a moment of following them and eavesdropping on their conversation; I had no doubt I could remain undetected by them. But then I remebered that Goliath was a werewolf, and that Veronika probably was one too. Werewolves have extremely keen senses, even in human form, and they could probably smell me coming from a mile away, no matter how stealthy I was.

So I resigned myself to waiting, and pulled out my book. I flipped through it until I reached my bookmarked page, then sat down and began to read. Hopefully we'll move on soon.

I continued working on my armor, not really caring about what Goliath and Veronika were doing, or what happened to the vampire. As long as I was helping innocents, and preferably getting payed along the way, I was fine. The rest of he group was seeminly aslo just interested in their personal affairs at the time, and immediately after a battle isn't a good time to get to know people. I did, hoever, thank Balarithgaer for rescuing me.

After I had fixed much of my gear and was basically out of breath, I looted some of the beasts I had killed while recovering. Were-wolves tend to not carry very much as their transformation tends to get rid of clothes, but I found a few septims on the vampires. I restricted myself to creatures I personally killed, in order to prevent any conflict that may arise over loot.

Around this point I was pretty hungry, and shouted over to Goliath, who had mysteriously disappeared with Veronika, "Do you mind if I hunt us some grub that doesn't bite back? I'm pretty sure their's deer around here."

Goliath and Veronika had wondered off again, Broken-Scale set himself down to read and Hjolifur called out to Goliath, "Do you mind if I hunt us some grub that doesn't bite back? I'm pretty sure their's deer around here." I sighed, retrived my broken bow and trued to find ways to fix it. To my avail, I was no repairman and my bow, now useless. I would take it with me to Kraag and get it fixed there, I figured. Hjolifur was searching the corpses for, well, anything really. The cold made my cheeks and fingertips numb. I rubbed my hands together to heat it up a little. I looked over to Gille, might as well get him to tutor me... I thought longingly. "Brother, would you care so much to teach me?" I asked.

'Goed Rust'

Gille looked up, his trail of thought - however messy and disjointed it was right now - broken when Gabriel spoke to him. "Teach you?" He raised an eyebrow in surprise, failing to grasp what the other Breton was talking about. The way he addressed him was rather odd, too, as their ties were rather weak for him to refer to Gille as 'brother', or so the spellsword thought to himself. Still, perhaps the Breton had a very different manner of speech to his, who knew. Shouldn't write him off for one weird wording.

After staring blankly for a moment or two, Gille finally caught on with what Gabriel was talking about. "Oh, you mean magick, right? Yeah, that's the only logical thing to be asking about for tutoring... Unless you want to learn to sew, but you don't strike me as the type." Eyeing his compatriot, he produced the pipe from somewhere in his robe. Though the thing was technically Goliath's, he was sure the werewolf wouldn't mind, especially if he was quiet enough about the borrowing. He'd return the thing afterwards, after all, given they both survived. And if we don't, oh well. Minus one pipe for him.

"Right, well I suppose I can try to teach you some stuff. I didn't pull through until the graduation in the Guild, but maybe that's good, it gives you perspective if you don't look at things the exact same way that bunch does. You don't look experienced, no offense, so I presume you're a pretty clean slate, no habbits. Easier to teach, good for me and you because I'm frankly a quite rubbish teacher. Or at least I think I am, 'cus I've never tried teaching anything to anyone. But if you're willing to try, sure. We can talk magick." Shrugging, he finished stuffing his pipe and produced a small spark to set it alight. If nothing else, teaching Gabriel would be a good way to take his mind off things, and if this first scrap was any indication, he could use that in the journey ahead.

Aitor appreciated what Balarithgaer had did for him, and promised to lend a hand in the next battle. Foretunately none others came. Balarithgaer glanced over to his beloved sword, and stepped over the dead were-bear towards it. He picked it up gently, thats when the tears spilled over, that sword was a part of him, and a part of his dear mother. Why am I doing this? I'm no vampire hunter! Nor were-creature hunter. Why didn't I return home, I may never see mother again, and I've ruined all I have left. Balarithgaer fell to his knees and wept and wept. He didn't care about being perceived as weak, he just cared about his sword, and his mother.
A commotion breaking out behind him broke Balarithgaer out of his sorrow, and as he bounded up the tree to get a better vantage point, he saw that there was a newcomer and two large were-wolves - one which was black, were circling each other and yelling. One of the were-wolves appeared to be on the human side, and it was wearing Goliath's skull, which struck Balarithgaer as odd, but then it hit him, the were-wolf WAS Goliath. A bloody fight followed, and Goliath was kicked into the next tree, which rattled Balarithgaer's tree quite a bit, but he managed to stay on. The Alpha were-wolf looked like it knew what it was doing, and seemed to be dominating Goliath, until a swipe across its face allowed Goliath to beat the thing brutally, but the Alpha managed to throw Goliath up, but he managed to recover and throw the Alpha against a nearby boulder, cracking it, Goliath then came and slammed the Alpha against the blood smeared boulder once again. As the Alpha was lying on the ground, near death, Goliath ripped it open, tainting the surrounding snow red, and displaying his power to anyone else who may dare cross him. Balarithgaer's blood curled as Goliath screamed that he was death, and let out a frightening howl, that couldn't of help the confidence of the nearby towns residents.
And it was over. Goliath had fallen over, and everyone seemed flabbergasted, as the remaining were-creatures and vampires skulked off into the wilderness. But it wasn't over for long, the female ran full speed, axe-swinging at the newcomer, shouting something too quiet for Balarithgaer to hear. After she was contained, Hjolifur came over and started to heal Aitor's wound with his yelling. Hjolifur looked out of breath, but walked away and looked to repair some armour Maybe he will repair my sword?
Balarithgaer bounded down the tree but was too late to catch Hjolifur, so he took a restore Health potion out of his satchel and gave it to Aitor, telling him to drink it, as he still looked in a sorry state, he intended to ask Aitor how the wound came about when he was better.
Balarithgaer dawdled down to Hjolifur, who was now repairing his armour, and saw that the female and now restored Goliath head off to a remote location behing the grove they were in. Although he was about to go hunting, Balarithgaer said to Hjolifur "Hjolifur, my friend. This sword is very dear to me, and I see you are competent in reapiring items, I would greatly appreciate it if you were able to fix it for me." He held out his bent sword for Hjolifur to take, if he chose to.

"Sure, friend, I will try to help. I'll just need a little while to catch my breath" I panted. If he had asked me before I had reapired my armor i could've done it right away, but my shouts had emptied my lungs. After a minute or so of catching my breath, I picked up his blade. He [NUMMIT] this up even more than I did mine.
I tightened my lips to channel the air I would have to bellow into a single stream and brought his hilt to my face, just below my mouth, with the blade sticking directly out and the curve going up. I stared crudely, bending the main body of metal in form of me back into its shape. This process was quick as I knew that nothing could go wrong if I put to muck power into it, the blade would just go straighter, and I just about emptied my lungs in bending the weapon back into shape. Then I worked on the flat sides, making sure that the angle descending to the sharp sides were the same. I had to use my Thu'um carefully as to not mess up the inscription, but I managed. The blade was straight ten or fifteen minutes later, and I started sharpening the edges. This blade got dull because, when hit against a solid object, the sharp edge would 'mushroom' into itself. Grindstones and hammers chipped away at the 'mushroom' to make a new edge, but the way I used the Thu'um preserved metal. I could bend the flat edge back over into a sharp edge. I made the edge have a very steep angle into the point, so as to make it less likely to dull as quick. the price of this was it was less sharp, but Balarithgaer was, although short, fairly sturdy and wouldn't notice it. I also didn't want to make him dependent on me since, to my knowledge, none of my companions knew how to use or brought any repair hammers. I may have been wrong, but I wasn't going to take a chance.
"Balarithgaer," I said when I was done "you can take the blade now. I didn't see how you bent this so badly, but I must tell you that I might not live. And if I'm not around to help you with this, you might end up having to toss your sword. I can tell it means a lot to you from your tears. So use it the way you were taught to use it.

OOC: its not PMing, its just that A: a lot of characters don't even have anything to add to this scene, and we should move on, and
B: the relevent characters just aren't on this forum enough.

OOC: Is Jonasvault still in hospital? From his last post, I got the impression he still was.
