Horror of The North RP

Balarithgaer just stood there while the other members of the group told their stories. It was saddening, especially listening to Goliath's story, it was hard to believe a man that big could have such deep emotions, and to shed a tear, that would of been unheard of. In fact Balarithgaer had to choke back some of his own while the stories were being told, he wasn't normally this soft.... Probably just the alcohol., he shrugged it off.
Though he couldn't sympathize with these stories, having no real loss of his own, and none related to were-beasts or vampires of any kind. He'd never known his real father, and his step-father stood in for that job well, until he was attacked by Khajiit insurgents whilst they were leaving Valenwood.
The final three members joined the group. The Breton lit a pipe and introduced himself as Gille, and he was looking at everyone a little critically, the Imperial woman, who must of heard Goliath's story - and was rather rude about it, and the Dinmer who must of escaped from some sort of Imperial Institution.
"Everyone is here, what are we waiting for now? To the hunt!" Balarithgaer exclaimed, as he got a leg of mutton and ripped of a piece of meat over exxagerately with his teeth "Lets kill these bastards!"

I fowned at something the Imperial girl said. 'Tasting their flesh, drink their blood. Never spoil the rewards of the hunt' I'd only hear hunters of Hircine ever say something like that, and they usually said it in similar words, as well. So, she's one of Hircine's hunters, I thought. Strange

I respected her as a hunter - Hircine doesn't choose his hunters and huntresses lightly - but her insensitivity and pathetic jokes were irritating. As was the crazy Dunmer. He obviously had some sort of mental deficity, the way he was yelling and running back and forth.

But, for the most part, our little group seemed fine. I liked the Bosmer and the Nords, and the Bretons, while young, were fine by me. The other Dunmer . . . well, I can't say I liked him, but he hadn't done anything to me yet, though Dunmer were notoriously racist, so it was only a matter of time.

I shook the snow off and adjusted the collar of my armor, as it was starting to agitate my scar. I paced a short distance away from the group, then returned and faced my compainions. "Indeed," I said in response to the various call of enthusiasm for the beginning of our hunt, "Let us be off. I am eager to begin our hunt."

I saw that the Argonian, Broken-Scale was deep in thought, and his brows creased.Could it be what the Imperial had said? I guessed, After all, what she had said was immesly creepy. "Tasting their flesh, drink their blood. What are you a cannibal? I figured I had better keep a close eye on her. She didn't click with me like the other hunters. Something about her was chilling; dark, almost. At least she and I have a commonality for vampire hunting; that, we can relate to. And the rude Dunmer was getting on my nerves. Can he not wait? Why such impatince? The other Dunmer was looking slightly uncomfortable around us. I had nothing against him, but I had a feeling we aren't exactly going to get along. Broken-Scale, Balarithgaer were nice fellas, Gillie and the two Nords didn't seem to bother me. "I crave for the hunt. Can we not go forth?" I said enthusiastically. Goliath, the large Nord that claimed to have killed many werewolves had given Gillie a pipe to smoke. Temptation whispered in my ear to grab a pipe, but I refused. The hunt was like my own...Addiction.

"Tragic. Your sister being wolf meat and all. At least you can remember her every time you look into the skull of the one that killed her, am I right? You said you worshiped Hircine and now you hate him...such a devout worshiper you are." The ignorant words of the Imperial girl angered Goliath. He threw off his hood and marched over to her, grabbing her by the neck and raising her. Her feet were adjacent to his knees, Goliath looked up at her. "I worshiped Hircine, I killed and gave the pelts of great animals to him, and he repays me by slaughtering my little sister. Damn you, and damn your master, I've hunted you beasts long enough to smell a werewolf in any form, man or beast." Goliath quoted the young girl, " 'Tasting their flesh, drinking their blood'. " He mocked her.

"By the gods, if you so much as say another word about the victims which these beasts have claimed, I WILL tear you to pieces!" Goliath shouted, "Then, I will force you into your true form and skin you alive, presenting your pelt as an offering to Hircine. You foolish child," Goliath set her down on the ground, eyes still locked, "You know nothing of Hircine, he cares not for any of his beasts, they are but minions and pets, toys to bend for his will. I served him longer than you've been alive, I know Hircine. The night after my sister was born, he came to me in my sleep, offering penance as a were-wolf. I spat at him and made an oath that one day I would rid the world of his foul presence." Goliath turned to the others, his iris' practically red with rage, "Hircine has no love, if any of you understand the Princes, they hold nothing but animosity towards mortals. The only Daedra worthy of worship is Azura, for she is peaceful."

"Veronika, you think Hircine made you what you are because it was your destiny? No. Because he brought you a divine gift as the perfect hunter? No. You are a slave to him, nothing more. It is only for you to decide if you wish to break the chains that bind you, and become a true master of the Hunt." Goliath was finished, but just before he broke his gaze with Veronika, his eyes flashed yellow. He turned to Rolf, the scout of the king, "Lead on, kinsman. Where do we hunt first?"

Rolf threw on his heavy coat, "A village, named Kraag. It was the last one to be attacked, it sits in the alpines at the foot of the mountains. About a day's journey, shall we be off then."

Goliath brought out one of his javelins to use as a walking stick, "Lead on, Rolf." And so, the party set out. The journey, and quest seemed simple, but none of them truly knew the evil that they would face.

OOC: What just happened is between Werewolf&Vampire and Me. Nobody saw my eyes, as far as your characters are concerned, I Goliath just got pissed off and threw a [censored] fit.

She underestimated his force as he grabbed her by the neck, her feet dangling off the ground, moving quickly as if she were running in the air. Veronika stared at the Nord, not paying attention to some of his words, she just kept thinking and decided to be sarcastic about it.

"Thanks" She weezed "The ground is too cold for my feet. Can you carry me?" Teased Veronika.

"I spat at him and made an oath that one day I would rid the world of his foul presence." Goliath stressed

"Well, good luck with that. It's like.." She coughed when his grip went tighter.

Veronika coughed as the Nord released her neck, leaving her coughing on the ground, she growled angrily and spat. You have to learn when to shut up, Veronika told herself. And now, she was discovered, damnit. She should of used a perfume or something that could mask her scent. Did it matter? Goliath hunted Werewolves for a long time, he could tell anyway. Good thing he didn't attempt to kill her right there, she was still a bit hungry. He left to continue the hunt, and she patted off the snow from her shoulders and knees. She kept silent, thinking about what he had said. "It is only for you to decide if you wish to break the chains that bind you, and become a true master of the Hunt."

What did he mean by that? His eyes turned yellow, and after red, why so?. Veronika drew a slick smile upon her features, there was something he was not telling anyone else, but she would let him reveal to them. Veronika turned to one of them that questioned what she said.

"Drinking their blood...tasting their flesh..." Veronika muttered "So, am I the only that wasn't satisfied with the king's food? Cause I am still a bit hungry, I meant deer flesh..hehe" Veronika told them, in a context, it was the truth rather than another stupid joke. Since her childhood was full of tragedy and death, she respected life enough to laugh at it. Veronika cracked her knuckles and followed the group. So many thoughts ran across her mind, and it bothered her. Veronika wasn't much of a thinker at all, but now tings changed. She shook her head back and forth, whispering and mumbling words to herself.

"Azura is boring" Veronika finally said a little louder, but still low enough so Goliath could not hear her. After walking, she thought about Hircine? Her master. Was she truly a slave, a minion? No, she didn't think that she was. After all, slaves aren't given rewards for their service, just a whip on the back when it's not good enough. There were few times where she failed, and she had punishment, but she strived to be great at what she does. Failure is natural, that is why she learned from her mistakes. No Daedric Prince has love, she knew that, but she only saw that her gift was a means to an end...and that end was to achieve her full potential and to survive. And that was very important, survival. Without it, death was certain, and she wasn't ready to die just yet.

Leaving Riften

Gille looked on unimpressed at the little scene between Veronika and Goliath. It was rather predictable overall - the Nord dwarfed the Imperial female and easily dominated her physically. He proceeded to make an angry yelling of a speech, slurring Daedra, which did little to impress the Spellsword; perhaps it was his Mages Guild education, but he didn't think many of these people actually understood Daedra Lords, as much as there was to understand in that big whirlpool of crazy. And Veronika was just as predictable in her reaction, understandably comming off as rather roughed up and losing a fair chunk of her attitude. Of course, what else was one to do when they were assaulted by a giant Nord? It was a choice between starting a fight, getting him some mead or shutting up and Gille had to give her credit for picking the smarter option.

At the same time as he considered the scene, Gille couldn't help but feel a bit disturbed. Why was he feeling so hostile to these people? Am I really succumbing to that most annoying of all qualities, feeling superior because of the Guild education? No, that shouldn't be it; I don't mind anyone's education. Maybe it's because they all seem to be either old, asses, or too bloodthirsty. Am I the only one looking at this in a professional manner, without all the brash 'let's get going, dor hor, slaughter dem wolves'? Certainly might seem that way...

Rather deep in thought, though most likely not about the same things the rest of them were thinking about, Gille fell a bit behind the group, enough so to hear Veronica mumbling something to herself before presenting what seemed to be the conclusion she arrived at after her inaudible considerations: "Azura is boring." A curious statement - obviously made silently with the intention of preventing Goliath from hearing it - which made the Spellsword raise an eyebrow and shoot a look at her over his shoulder. Deciding that there was no need to isolate her because of some scuffle with the resident huge Nord, he took a deep breath of the sweet - to him - smell of tobacco before taking the pipe out of his mouth.

"Not quite right. She's merely usually misinterpreted."

Awkward. That was the word Balarithgaer used to describe Goliath's outburst, that Imperial deserved it, however, being ever so rude to the Nord's family. But no-one did anything while Goliath was basically killing her. Just standing there, lost in their own thought, no-one saying anything. In fact no-one had saaid much in the 200 or so metres they'd walked. The night was foggy, ominous and appropriate. A wind howled over them, and Balarithgaer regretted not sewing that hole up over his sheep-skin pants. At least he had his shirt, vest, boots and gloves. Mind, so did everyone else - except for Broken-Scale, no boots and fingerless gloves Thats just screaming for a nasty case of frost bite. But that made Balarithgaer question why no-one had made Argonian boots yet, there were plenty of Argonian smiths to craft them. Not enough business is what Balarithgaer put it down to, too hot in the Black Marsh.
He was also wondering how successful this adventure was going to be, A giant Nord attacking a funny smelling, rude Imperial, a psychopath who had quite an attitude, the drowning in ego Gille and Charon, two 'old' men, Balarithgaer presumed everyone thought that he and Hjolifur were weak and withered, and a Bosmer sized Nord, in fact Broken-Scale and Gabriel were the only ones who seemed remotely normal.
It would be a strange sight indeed for a passing traveller.
To add to the eerieness of it all something rustled in the bush near the path they were travelling, Balarithgaer slightly drew his sword. "Tis going to be interesting" he said to himself.

"Rolf, how far to Kraag?" The other nord makes me look tiny, and the Dunmer and Breton are about my hight. Imagine; a six-foot three dunmer! I've alway's been 'big' as average hight in Skyrim is 5'9 – almost full foot below the giant. I'd assume Thayn simply chose very strong and tall soldiers but the imperial – at 4'10 – and the Bosmer being even shorter, it makes no sense no me. We must be a sight to see to the passing travelers.

After this thought, Hjolifur began to amuse himself, and practice his Thu'um, by forcing some snow to move against the wind. Even this close to Riften, a light snow was constant. Some of the other members of the party may have been irritated by his shouting.

Then the Bosmer drew his sword and said, "This will be interesting." damned elvish senses Something jumped from the bush at Hjolifur, and would have hit him before he could draw his blade. Hjolifur shouted as hard as he could, and although the damage was unimpressive, the moster's leap was cut short and it was tossed on the ground. Finally the group got a good view of what attacked Hjolifur, and he drew his blade and readied his shield.

OOC: can you add the materials we got at the castle to the clothing/weapons/provisions on our character sheets, and update them when we find loot?

Before we set out something very interesting happened. The large Nord, Goliath, had picked up the Imperial girl by her throat and began talking to her. The only words I caught were, "By the gods, if you so much as say another word about the victims which these beasts have claimed, I WILL tear you to pieces!"

I could understand his anger. She was very rude about a traumatic event from his past. People tend to get testy when the events that cause them pain are mocked by those who don't understand.

But we set out anyway, the scuffle over with. The guide, Rolf, had said we were traveling to a town called Kraag. The cold was irritating, my feet and tail feeling like they were about to fall off. But I'm tough. I canget over it, I thought to myself.

Almost as soon as I finished that thought, I was suddenly filled with a feeling of being stalked. I looked about, but saw nothing, and heard only Hjolifur yelling at the snow.

But when I faced foward again, I heard Balarithgaer mutter, "Tis going to be interesting" and heard a sword being slightly drawn out of its sheath. Then I heard Hjolifur scream, and a body thump to the snowy ground. I looked towards him and saw some sort of beast laying on the ground. Instinctively, I dropped into a combat stance and prepared myself and my spear for a possible fight.

The Nord, Goliath picked up the Imperial girl, her feet dangling in the air. Goliath muttured a few words at her and I only picked up the words "I WILL tear you to pieces!" and "slave." I didn't blame Goliath, the Imperial was making a mockery of his past.

We soon set of to a town called Kraag and followed Rolf. Wispy, foggy air came out of my mouth as I breathed, as the cold started to make me feel numb. The I got this strange feeling in me, in words I cannot explain. I heard a yell, and craned my head to where it came from. The yell belonged to Hjolifur, whom had his sword out. Then the Bosmer commented "This will be interesting", drawing his blade. The I saw it. A strange beast lay on the floor, and like every one else, I drew my blade, ready for battle.

Goliath whipped around at Hjolifur's shout, as did a few others of the group. The javelin Goliath held was in a throwing stance, but it would not be used. The animal was a mere wolf, which now whimpered and limped because of Hjolifur's Thu'um. It growled, but still whined and limped, "Stay your arms, its just an animal. If we don't make it to Kraag, we may not get the chance to face the real enemy." Goliath stared the wolf in the eyes, it lowered its head and Goliath whispered something to himself. The wolf limped off into the bushes.

"Now then, back to the journey." Goliath rolled his eyes at the excitement that had occurred. It was just a damn wolf, he thought. His hand was gripping his javelin tightly however. It was foggy in the snow-covered alpine trees, an eerie silence was over the forest, with only the clunking of the mules hooves being heard along with the occasional gust of wind. Goliath made his way to Veronika, reaching into his bag, he took out a small bottle. He whispered to her, "In battle, drink this. Trust me, it will prevent you from turning."

Goliath then kept walking, his eyes fixed on the forest. He knew the group was being watched. Through the mist he saw human-like shapes darting between the trees and tall grass. "What are you waiting for, dogs. Come for us." Goliath said to himself.

"Stay your arms, its just an animal. If we don't make it to Kraag, we may not get the chance to face the real enemy." I heard a Nord voice say to us.

I looked closer at the animal, then lowered my spear. The beast was just a wolf, and Goliath was already forcing it to go away, staring it in the eyes. As we kept walking, I shook my head. You're getting jumpy, Scale. You'll know when it's time to fight, I thought, trying to calm myself.

However, I knew I had a reason for being jumpy. We were still being stalked, I knew it, but I had no idea if it was by our own prey. I heard Goliath mutter, "What are you waiting for, dogs? Come for us," The statement certianly didn't calm me.

I drew one of my knives and held it in my left hand, ready to throw, and kept my spear in my right fist. I was going to be ready for the attack I knew would come sooner or later . . .

OOC: Ha, I never meant for it to be an attacking animal, just a rustle, y'know... set the scene.
I presume we all have torches? It would be frankly idiotic to travel Skyrim in the dead of night without them.
----------------------
Rolf finally replied to Hjolifur's question "Still maybe another 60-odd kilometres (OOC: I use the metric system, sorry). We'll definitely need to stop later, no use fighting when your fatigue is low, and who knows what we may come across tonight."
The next few hours were uneventful, the dim torchlight guiding them through the snow. Balarithgaer's torch had gone out, too much snow hitting it. There was little discussion - the majority of which was lack luster. Bows, swords, spears and throwing knives were drawn, and everyone seemed a little touchy. At what Balarithgaer guessed about midnight, Rolf announced that they should set camp for the night. "I only packed bedrolls" He explained as he pulled a few of the mule. "Tents wouldn't fit. Keep your weapons close, you never know what may lurk out here. We can only rest for three hours, tops. We must be in Kraag as soon as possible." As the bedrolls were handed out, Balarithgaer refused and pulled his own, crudely made one out of his satchel. He didn't care, it reminded him of Anvil....where it was nice and....warm.
I don't even know why we're stopping for rest, its not like anyone is going to sleep out here tonight. Just best to listen to the sounds of the night and amp myself for the morrow. Alright what do I know about... were...wolves He didn't realise how tired he was, as Balarithgaer let the hustle bustle of the nocturnal animals drag him to sleep.

Great, now to everyone I will seem like an inferior little Imperial girl, Veronika scoffed inwardly. Veronika shot a look at Guille, listening to his opinion about Azura. In truth, she never really cared for any other Daedric Prince other than Hircine and Clavicus, but she was always open to learning about her.

"Never liked her. Not enough thrill serving her." Veronika motioned.

Veronika then turned to the Bosmer, eyeing him with that predatory look of hers. "False alarm, just a wolf" She stressed. As if he didn't know that already, she kept on walking, until Goliath came to her, handing her something and then whispered to her to drink it, it would prevent her from turning. As he left her sight again, she mumbled to herself. "Yea, right. This just might be poison" Veronika complained, opening the cover and sniffing it, realizing it was not lethal, but even the most dangerous venoms and poisoins were masked. She met a woman once who kissed a man, with poison on her lips, he thought nothing of it, as the poison was weak, but actually, it was simply covering another layer of poison, a far more lethal one. Veronika hid it in her pocket. I don't need to control myself, your just scared I would turn here and devour everyone. Veronika said bitterly inside her mind. Then, Goliath said something that caught her attention. She was ready for a fight, but she would wait until someone was attacked first. She simply yawned and cracked her neck again, waiting to see what would happen.

Aitor listened to all of the others talk about their past life events. For Maras sake, what is this? Bedtime stories? He thought. Then Aitor turned his sight towards the big nord, Goliath, whom was strangling the imperial woman. He didn't know why he was doing so because he did not listen to their conversation, but surely she must of angered Goliath in some way. He decided not to stop the nord; he didn't care much anyway. After a while they began walking towards a village called Kraag. While in the forest, Aitor began speculating: They're probably thinking that I'm mad. I can see it by the way they look at me. Am I mad? I don't know. I doesn't matter at least I get the job done. Lets hope that we get to the village without any fights, I'm feeling strangely weak today... Why though? I don't know that either. He heard screams to his left and slightly turned his head without stopping his march. He quickly realized that its just a wolf, so he turned his head back and looked into the deep forest.

Rolf decided that we'll camp out for a night. The group stopped and Rolf began giving out bedrolls to the others. When he came up to Aitor, he rejected his, stating: "Don't worry, I'll keep watch for the three hours. The others should have a rest". He wondered off into the forest, looking for some wood so he could start a fire in the camp to keep everyone warm. When in the forest, Aitor bent his knees to pick a medium sized chunk of wood. He though Heh, we'll need some type of magic to start the fire... The wood is really wet. While crouching and examining the wood, he heard a loud cracking noise. He quickly looked up, placing his right hand on the silver mace. Aitor looked around, stood up and turned his head and eyes about incredibly quickly. He saw shadows moving from tree to tree in such speed, his pupils couldn't follow them. The shadows resemble muscular humanoid forms... Aitor noticed one of the shadows stop and stand right in front of him, although It was far away. The tension was growing and Aitor was becoming more nervous by every passing second, when suddenly two red dots appears on the creatures face. The eyes... He smiled and moved back a few steps. No, not now. I'm too tired... Eventually the red dots disappeared and the shadow disappeared with them. Aitor felt a huge relief, and walked back to the camp in a fast pace leaving the wood behind. He came back to the camp site, and said to the adventurers: "We can't camp here, we need to keep on moving towards Kraag. There is something in this forest... Something dangerous. And don't tell me that "we'll be fine" or that "we'll take care" of it because even if so, we cannot risk someone getting injured... or worse". He stared at the rest impatiently, hoping for a quick answer.

After being accepted or dclined by my compainions, Rolf finally reached me and offered me a bedroll. I was about to take it - Why not? - when the crazy Dunmer hurried back into the campsite. He had gone to keep watch and gather firewood, but now his cocky attitude was gone. He looked like he had seen a ghost. The things stalking us, I thought.

"We can't camp here, we need to keep on moving towards Kraag. There is something in this forest... Something dangerous," The Dunmer said, looking anxious, "And don't tell me that "we'll be fine" or that "we'll take care" of it because even if so, we cannot risk someone getting injured... or worse"

I agreed with him. I knew that the creatures following us would jump at the opprotunity to attack us unawares. I stapped foward. "I agree," I said forcefull, "We cannot let our guards down, not here, not now. We are being stalked, and resting now would put us in danger,"

"Stay your arms, its just an animal. If we don't make it to Kraag, we may not get the chance to face the real enemy." Goliath spoke. Ha. Just a wolf. I thought, a measly wolf, making us all jumpy. How sad. I chuckled silently then I saw Goliath walk over to the Imperial girl and he whispered something to her ; another threat, perhaps?

Rolf, the Nord had decided we should camp out for the night, offering everybody bedrolls. The mad Dunmer told us all to have a rest and that he would watch over for three hours and search for firewood. And in a few minutes, the Dunmer came hurrying back, an ashen look on his face. His bad attitude was no longer with him, "We can't camp here, we need to keep on moving towards Kraag. There is something in this forest... Something dangerous," The Dunmer said, in a hushed voice, "And don't tell me that "we'll be fine" or that "we'll take care" of it because even if so, we cannot risk someone getting injured... or worse."
Broken-Scale stepped forward, agreeing to the Dunmer, stating that we were being stalked and resting would only endanger us. Fatigue rested upon my shoulders and I really needed my sleep, I didn't argue with them, but just gave a nod to say "yeah, ok."

"But how much good will we be in Kraag if we don't get any sleep? I am willing to fight without rest, but I'd rather be able to fight as well as I can than have to fight already tired. Perhaps we should rest in a cave or something where two shifts of guards can watch the entrance well. The mountains that are Skyrim are riddled with such places, and most are uninhabited, even by beast. If we do so, I volunteer to be one of the first guards." I meant every word.

I was also still embarrassed from the hurting of the wolf. It had jumped at me, and I attacked it while it was about to hit me, but my shout was perceived oddly by many of those in my group. perhaps they are unused to Kyne's gift to man.

Goliath was not ready for sleep, he had once spent four days tracking a were-bear with no sleep. "We need to rest, none of us will be a match for what may await us in Kraag. I will patrol the forests and light small fires, Hjolifur, if you could use your gifts to perhaps dry the wood, we may watch while the others sleep. There is a small grove I saw just to the east of here, backed by a large outcrop of boulders. If we build fires around the perimeter, that will cast light into the fog and we can see what is stalking us. If they know we're aware of their presence, they will not attack." Goliath declared the idea aloud. He sheathed his javelin and then brought out his great sword.

"I say we go to the grove and camp their for the night, I will take guard with Hjolifur and we will set small fires around the grove. If anybody has a better idea, speak now or forever hold your peace." Goliath awaited the answers of the others, Rolf spoke up immediately however, "I think that's the best idea." He said, looking jittery as he glanced to a fro into into the woods. Shapes were passing between the trees, they had to find a safe location to rest. "I need no sleep tonight, I had a rather fine nights' sleep yesterday. So if we go to the grove, who will replace Hjolifur on the second watch?" Again, he awaited a response.

"If necessary, I can simply not be replaced." I was not keen on the idea, I wasn't quite tired, but sleep is a very important thing. I also wanted to pray to Shor and Kyne before the fighting started.

Veronika sighed and yawned loudly. "I will be on watch the second time. You will need my hand in this. My eyes, my ears and my sight." Veronika looked around, looking deep into the woods and into the darkness.

"If I may as well, pray to my Prince, Hircine" Veronika stated purposly. Knowing few of them hated Hircine while some of them respected him. Veronika reached for the remaining pieces of food in her pocket and began eating them. She didnt want any animal sniffing around because of her snacks, otherwise it would be here fault. Besides, Veronika can survive two to three days without eating, with only on a diet of blood and water. But the occasion did not call for such drastic starvation, so she kept a clear head and a happy heart. Wielding her Axe, she smiled at Goliath, the fact that she did was because most of them agreed to keep walking, while he wanted to remain here to rest. Bearing no opinion on that matter, Veronika shrugged.

"It's all up to the leader, I guess. He's the big dog and we are his little followers....so, follow the leader" Veronika yawned again. At first, the gold was not on her mind, but she could use it to go back home to Cyrodiil. If she survived.

Despite being nearly asleep, Balarithgaer agreed. "As long as we stop. I'm absolutely out of it." And there was a reason too, it took him two days - stopping only for food - to get to Riften. "I agree with Hjolifur, how good will we be against these beasts without rest?".
That Imperial, who still hadn't revealed her name yet, said something about praying to her lord. Hircine. This was strange, as they were hunting Hircine's beasts. There was something...off about the Imperial, and she was letting it show. She can't be a werewolf! No, I'm just going crazy... why would someone hunt their own kind? She may just worship him and appreciate his deeds.Hopefully there's no ulterior motive... she wouldn't ...kill us? Would she? Balarithgaers mind was leading him astray, he just needed rest.
"Alright, lead on then" He said to Rolf and Goliath.

"Good. I'll summon a Daedra whom will keep an eye out for those that shall be sleeping in the grove, me included. I need rest" Aitor said. He wasn't thinking the same thoughts: That fool might get us killed. I cannot seperate from the group though, I would surely die. We can only hope that he's right about the fire. He took a hold of his silver mace and now was holding it in his right hand. Aitors white hair, which just came down to his shoulders, was being pushed by the wind, covering half of his face.

Aitor listend to the girl say: "It's all up to the leader, I guess. He's the big dog and we are his little followers....so, follow the leader". He looked at her with a bit of anger in his eyes and thought to himself: And who might that be? Goliath? Just because he's experienced at hunting the hunters doesn't mean that he can boss me around. Aitor did not say that out loud because he didn't want to start another argument. This is not the appropriate time. He turned his head and body to the east and began walking that way. He stopped and while slightly turning just his head, he said to the rest of the group: "There is nothing to wait for. Lets move on". He continued moving east.

Everybody threw in their opinions on whether or not to camp. Balarithgaer, the Imperial, even Goliath. I shrugged and said, "Very well, if the majority believes we should camp, I'm fine with it. I also volunteer for watch duty, if need be"

I quieted down and began losing myself in though. The Imperial girl had said many things that made me think. She was right about Goliath being the leader; he had stepped into that role almost immediatly. But she was also a worshipper of Hircine, and was no longer bothering to hide it. Interesting, I thought . . .

With everyone throwing in their opinons to sleep for the night or to move on ahead, I pitched in my thoughts. "Whatever is best. I think it is agreeable that we find a cave and sleep for the night. I would also like to keep watch whenever avaliable though," I spoke.

The Imperial had not yet revealed her name to us, and yet, something was...Different about her. She had openly spoken of worshiping Hircine, which was strange, almost. I decided I should keep a closer eye on her, as something about her was odd indeed. She could even be a danger to us...

"Well? May you lead on, Goliath? We are eager to rest and watch over the night," I said, turning my head ti his direction.
