Horse moves faster then cell loading.

Post » Mon Jul 14, 2014 2:04 am

So my issue is that when I′m on a horse and moving around is like the game can′t keep up with the horse movement.

Sometimes I need to stop moving to wait for grass/actors/stuff to get loaded.

Also when that is happening I have no horse footsteps sound.

Is not freezing is just loading the Cells a bit slow.

I have a very stable game.

And in my new playthrough I′m about 12 hours in and never got a CTD.

What is weird is that I have the game in a SSD.

So it should be faster.

Any help is very much appreciated.

-----------------

That has nothing to do with your SSD drive.

Like a memory stick, there are no moving parts on a SSD. A hard disk drive uses a mechanical arm with a read/write head to move around and read information from the right location on a storage platter.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This difference is what makes SSD so much faster.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SSD's will not change your FPS. !!! FPS is primarily determined by the video card. Most HDD (and SSD) can feed data fast enough to the video card.
What a SSD will do, is improve overall Windows performance and overall loading times.
Once in a game, game performance (and screen sync) depends on the video card more than anything else... !!! :wink:
What are your computer specs ??? - Any mods ??? - Tried verifying your game cache files ??? (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335)
You could try not using ugrids=7 or the high def texture packs if its a crappy SSD (some of the older drives have buggy firmware and stall alot)
The less the amount of scripts you have running the better, if you do run alot of script intensive mods a higher frequency CPU helps. Also check to see what whats running on the cpu core that runs the games main loop, AV ect will disturb the latency of the loop, script processing/texture loading will slow or stall the mains loops output if your computers subsystems are deficient for the workload you give it.
I understood using a Ugrids different to default can cause bad things to happen to your save.
