Horses are defintly in!

Post » Sun Oct 10, 2010 2:52 pm

Hunting horses is outlawed in my books.

Then we'll do it when you're not watching :ninja:

Just kidding, I'm not very interested in hunting horses myself, because horses have other uses, like riding. still, a horse can be a source of food in an emergency, I suppose.

hey there was no werewolf meat

Would you want to eat a werewolf's meat? I mean, since werewolves are people that transform into wolves due to having lycanthropy, that would technically be cannibalism...

In any case, we don't know if werewolve's are in or not, but if they are, I don't expect them to drop meat.

No I wouldn't want to eat werewolf meat, but with some bethesda games you could eat flesh, like strange meat in Fallout and there was some mort flesh in Oblivion, and that is people, just undead and then dead again

Imagine riding a mammoth... or a sabretooth tiger...

Epic.

Aren't there also sabre-toothed tigers in Skyrim? I'm sure I remember seeing that in the GI article.

Actually, come to think of it, I seem to recall human flesh occassionally showing up as an item in the Elder Scrolls, it wasn't exactly something you could get from every person you killed.

I don't recall what they dropped in Bloodmoon, if anything, so that's a good question, assuming werewolves are in the game at all, since there's been no word on them, rather than speculating on what they could drop, I think we should be speculating on whether we'll see them at all.

It wouldn't make much sense to drop human clothing since werewolves are usually shown not wearing the clothes they wore in their human form.

Along with what ever else everyone said, I would think there would be some type of superstition about it if they believe it to be an evil creature.

Assuming that's all the meat, this would also mean...

No rats!

If there's a fighter's or mercenary guild, the traditional 'first quest' is in for a change.

I personally hate horses and would prefer to be able to use some other creatures as mounts.
I'm going to brutally murder every single horse in the game.

What I am wondering is will horse Armor be in!?

And will it be DLC?

Side note: I would love to be able to ride a mammoth into towns.

Yep, Todd mentions "looting" the creatures during that part of the video, IIRC, so all of the animals that have meat items must be in the game. I guess that would be safe to assume anyway...

So,

Mammoths
Goats
Horses
Deer
Cows
Dogs
Horkers

The question is, which (if any) are ridable?

Horkers, I hope. I want a Horker mount.

He will be my steed. I shall name him Thunderbolt and ride him into battle.
