Yep, Todd mentions "looting" the creatures during that part of the video, IIRC, so all of the animals that have meat items must be in the game. I guess that would be safe to assume anyway...

So,

Mammoths
Goats
Horses
Deer
Cows
Dogs
Horkers

The question is, which (if any) are ridable?

*makes joke about it actually being elk meat*

Seriously though, I saw that before, I don't know why I didn't link it to horses being in.

I do think I see horse meet there, though Oblivion had beef and ham despite their not being a single cow or pig in the game, so I wouldn't say it's definite proof, but it does seem highly likely, even without this image.

I bet dogs are ridable, and horkers, especially horkers.

But actually, my guess is only horses are ridable, like in Oblivion, the others are animals that either are domesticated for purposes other than riding or aren't domesticated at all, in any case, having horses and not being able to ride them would seem kind of pointless.

Horkers were furry in Bloodmoon... I think the models/textures at that time just didn't show it too well: http://images.uesp.net//1/15/BM-creature-horker-2.jpg

Hopefully hunting will be a viable way to make money this time. In Oblivion, meat was very under-valued. If I spend a day out hunting mammoths, I expect to be justly rewarded by merchants.

Guess what Google suggested I should rather search for when I googled "horker"?

And no I played Bloodmoon the day it came out, I just wanted a link for a friend (I'm not a newb! Honest! Check my join date!)

Wait, why were people thinking that horses weren't going to be in? I would have just assumed that one would have been a given. Its not like the Nords eat their horses like in Morrowind. Well, judging by the fact that I'm starring at horse meat, maybe they do.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas had no hoses, we have been suffering.

I don't think it's that anyone assumed they Wouldn't be in, but have been missing them for the last few years. :)

And why would it? Oblivion had quite a few different kinds of meet too, but it was only useful for alchemy. All this shows is is that presumably, many types of animals drop meat.

Horkers were furry in Bloodmoon... I think the models/textures at that time just didn't show it too well: Screenshot

Even though the default Morrowind textures are kind of low quality by modern standards, it certainly looks like there's fur to me too, though I can't tell if that's supposed to be fur in the concept art or not.
