Horses: Saddle Bags and Commands... : IV

Hey folks,

As I was playing through last night (really have only just started as I have only just completed my FCOM+Extras install now!), I realised my horses were missing Saddle Bags - quite the upsetting thing to find out actually! But, at least it happened before I went dungeon crawling, and not after

I am planning on using the following, as these are what I used ages ago and have not really seen or heard about anything else since. So, to that end, I wanted to ask and see if these are still solid extras for Oblivion's horses or if anyone had any better recommendations?

I think these are the last up-to-date.

I tested this the last few days but ended uninstalling kuertee Horse commands. Horses do not work well in Oblivion.

The best thing to do now is to install DLC Horses Armor + Dude Where is my horse for minimum problems.

That will work alongside of MMM's "repackaging" of Slof's Horses or whoever's horses has been used in it?

I have the DLC horse stuff already and "Dude...". The DLC is installed but "Dude..." isn't. So I'll take care of that tonight.

Hmmm, well looks like I have some problem solving to do :banghead:

Got home last night and added to my Oblivion via BAIN:
...FCOM Slof's Horses - by Xtudo
...MD SaddleBags
...MD SaddleBags Accessories
...Dude, where's my horse
...Horse Commands Revamped

then rebuilt my bash, and then. . . . nothing! Now my oblivion will go no further than the first 1cm on the loading bar, on the loading screen before hitting the Main Menu.

I'll start by deactivating the newly added ESPs one-by-one, but does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this? Like, does anyone already know about any incompatibilities with these mods with any other mods?

Hey folks,

Just realised that I had not reported back. Not sure if others need to know my findings, but the info is here if needed

I worked out that "http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2008" ended up being the culprit of not letting my Oblivion get passed the initial "Loading" screen - and that I wasn't alone; see http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/25300-name-md-saddle-bags-v23/page__view__findpost__p__2324405 for "MD Saddle Bags V3".

Now perhaps I should have been a little more diligent in my testing, but oh well, with my being impatient and all... I simply dropped down to v2.6_RC2, thinking (or rather using the excuse!) that whatever the underlying issue may be with v3.0_RC1, it would also be present in the 4 releases before it - v3.0_Beta-3, v3.0_Beta-2, v3.0_Beta-1, and v3.0.

So anyhow, I dropped MD Saddle Bags v2.6_RC2 into my load order and it worked! I then added in my other horse mods I wanted as well, "http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36679", "http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3861", and "http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=4276" and still everything worked!!

So I'm happy now

I have great looking horses, I have saddle bags for my horses (which means I can carry more loot out of dungeons now), and with "Dude, wheres my horse" and "Horse Commands Revamped" I know I won't be losing my horse any time soon.

I still have the occasional CTD, but thats probably something else to do with all of my other mods!! But I'm OK with what I get out of my install at hte moment!
