What do you want to see with Horses in Skyrim? If there's any at all.

No I don't want them, horses are annoying creatures,! much rather run around on my own without have to worry about the horse getting killed by a troll or whatever. and no mounted combat does thing even more annoying, jumping off the horse every time you get attacked.

I don't see much reason to change things as far as horses go from Oblivion. They seemed to work pretty well in that game IMO.

Maybe just on farms. Plowing fields, packhorses for traveling merchants and in stalls...that sorta stuff.

Considering there was a concept art of different meat with horse meat included, it looks like horses will be in Skyrim too.

What I would expect from horses in Skyrim is for them actually to be viable travel options rather than be useless, with you being able to surpass the speed of a horse with high enough athletics. I would also maybe like some commands you could give to them (like stay put) so they won't run to their deaths or run away.

RDR horses, except they would need to be Clydesdales considering the terrain.

This is what I want in them too! Also redesign the control. for them they barely got you out of a monsters reach when you needed to leave like 10 seconds ago and they knid of felt tank like with their movements as you rode on one.

Hahahaa! Evil horse chased you across a field. That was hilarious. Were your pockets filled with oats perchance?

Anyway. Better controls. Better animation. Give the horse a personality. They are living, breathing things with emotions, not fiberglass go-karts. And mounted combat should play a part, but there should be benefits to fighting on foot.

I want a donkey to pull my wagon with a bed and a place to stash my spare weapons and supplies... and I also want to to paint it (the wagon, not the donkey... oh wait, nevermind I'll paint the donkey too).

Provided they don't cost more than their worth. By the time I could afford a decent horse in Oblivion I could already run faster than they could. Always loved a sneaky / speedy character!

That and I hope they handle ALOT better than they did in Oblivion. I mean those were absolutely horrible. Plus I wouldn't even want them in the game if you couldn't at least use a bow while riding them. I mean it was stupidly ridiculous how you were forced to dismount every time something attacked you. And ever after you dismounted, the enemy still attacked your horse!

Great AI

Horses of different types with different qualities (including that donkey, lol), just like in OB. Add carts for loot storage, and wagon for camping bonuses (or as a travel service if nothing else). I want ground condition to affect our speed, and no mountain horses this time. I've heard of mountain goats able to climb pretty much anything, but not mountain horses. Better animations and control (more fluid, I think), and a foe shouldn't ignore me just because he spots my horse.

More than one sound for a horse running.

In Oblivion, there was just one "clip clop" sound made when your horse moved, whether it was on hard or soft ground. It was very silly to hear constant "clip clop" sounds when going through a soft grassy glade!
