So why is the Legion hostile towards me? It doesn't show them in my Pip-Boy. Is this going to affect the game in any way? I don't mind killing them all the time, but it would be lame if this is a bug that is going to make it so I can't complete the game.

i have that too but mine was provoked when i got to nipton i didnt like the leader who was there and talks to you and he told me to do something about it so i did lol

So you don't think it'll affect the game negatively? It is just weird that they don't show up as a hostile faction in my Pip-Boy, they just always attack.

idk man its hard to say i mean dont get me wrong this game is 30 times better then fallout 3 and i loved fallout 3 but there is quite alot of stuff they need to fix

Are you wearing NCR gear, that will make them attack you regardless of your standing with them.

It's not just that, believe me.

this happens to me too, maybe having boone with you angers them, but i cant find him after i left the lucky 32...

i found boone and told him not to follow me, the legion are no longer hostile towards me, he was outside the lucky 32 or 38 or whatever. this still should be fixed, but to all who have this issue just get rid of boone. i hope this helps

When I met the Legion in Nipton everything seemed peachy, Went through the dialogue and decided to kill them afterward, INSTEAD they all walked away down a road and I couldn't find them. rofl
